imo the problem with stuff like that is that in times where you are young, have no fear and feel strongest you usually cant afford the really good bikes and later you got the money but not enough time and u are "too old" to shred like a really young fellow

Jack Green Mtb softer compounds=softer,less durable,better grip,more rolling resistance hard compounds =harder,more durable,a bit slippery when wet,less rolling resistance dual compounds=a mix of both soft and hard rubber...if you ride wet conditions softer compounds give much better grip but will wear out quicker..specialized makes some great tires

What damper are you running in the front fork? I see you did away with the twinloc which would get rid of the FIT4 damper correct? RC2? let me know, I've been contemplating the same thing to clean up my cockpit. Keep shredding scotty!

Why don't you always ride a 203 mm rotor in the front? It cant be about the weight, right? it cant be more than 10 or 20 grams? Are there any other negative effects on the bike? BtW awesome channel, awesome video, awesome bike! Love it! Keep these videos coming! Love your channel!

Thanks for replying. I use clipless shimanos right now, but they are so narrow (they consist basically only of the clip). I've always thought that i should get some pedals that are a bit wider to gain some better balance. Do you recommend these for Cross country as well?
