This season 10 is the best American Idol ever. Have the most great talent compare to the previous season. Thumb up to country music. This song gets to me EVERY TIME. . .here's the story. . .Im a seventeen year old girl who lost her dad to cancer (just like the song!) eleven years ago when I was six. The irony of it is that my dad was diagnosed when he was forty - six (again, IRONY). He died eighteen days before his forty - seventh birthday. That song came out on AUGUST 4, 2003. . .FOUR MONTHS, THREE DAYS AND THREE YEARS AFTER MY DAD DIED!!! I STILL get emotional about it.

After 'living like i was dying' the past year, its still taking me a long time to get my head around the fact that at 36, i had lung cancer and i kicked its arse the best i could! I am in remission after a hard, long battle but this song reminds me NEVER take a moment to forget to live. A bit shaky at the moment due to something similar to PTSD, but i'm taking baby steps til i can sky dive in my mind. Thank you for this song.x

Theresa Bowman thank you hun ♡ sadly i was told in February by my Oncologist that the tumor has come back and spread to my other lung too :/ they have given me time scales - which i asked for, having a 15yr old daughter - i have just finished another course of chemo and go back on Wednesday to get the results of my CT scan. This song means even more to me now, and i fight each day with every bit of my being. Cancer sucks!x

Keep on keeping on never give up! My daughter smiled until the night she left us! But she fought 2 brain surgeries and lots of Chemo but asked God not to let her lose her long beautiful blood hair! She didn’t lose it! Then went home to be with God!

Fabulous !! Singing with the likes of Tim McGraw has to be one of the coolest moments of his life !! Country music is the best ~ Tim McGraw came out with this song in honor of his father who was dying of brain cancer. It's meaningful to me, as it was the same year my sis died of cancer .. this was her last favorite song in this life !! It's a powerful song for those mature enough to understand it !!
