Just on this point, I agree with you totally. In saying that, I work at a fuel station and I'm seeing people using cash more and more... again. It's great to see. The only bug bear I have is don't come in and pay for a $2 cup of coffee and expect higher denomination of change than 10's and 5's and then carry on like a squealing pig that's copped a bullet behind the shoulder about it! I was told a while back by a bloke who reckons cash is here to stay, he said because the remote Aboriginal communities only use cash as there are limited services out in the middle of nowhere and theres no way the government would take it from them. Maybe he is onto something but cashless helps the government control people, look at what the canadian government did to the covid protesting truck drivers. That rust at the back, about 80% of Falcons will mainly get a tiny bit of rust but if the channels along the boot don't get cleared regularly, it'll look like that. Also, Scotty check around where the hood hinges are as that's another rusty spot.

@351tgv8 күн бұрын
not all of them, Ford finally fixed the SOHC with the AU series, remember from EB Series II the 4.0L had all sort of issues the main one being timing chain and the ignition systems, I mean with EF they tried coils and that failed so went back to electronic Distribution for EL. then there was the crank issues with EF and EL. The 3.9L also had head problems not sealing properly in Series I EA Falcon for the TBi versions which was not fixed until the EA Series 1991 version which was the EB Series I. The only good 3.9L was the 3.9L MPEFI from 1990 onward with the 4-speed auto. Back to the AU Series, from Series II onwards the SOHC were all but bullet proof and the Dedicated LPG ones can run super lean so really bot and still not blow.

So if you get the overall weight of the AU down to 1350kg and turbo it to get around stock turbo barra power so roughly 200+rwkw or so and with a 3.73 diff ratio you should see at least a 13.5 but that's running like a high stall like 2800. to get at least into the 12's you'll have to be getting at least 230 at the wheels, really it's the BTR that hold the AU's back with it's shitty ratios. only if there was a 6 speed auto that works well with the 2.23... Hmmmmmmm
