My old accord with the K24 engine took a lickin' and kept on tickin'. I used it as a delivery vehicle and put a TON of miles on it. You couldn't imagine a car taking a bigger beating/pounding, just non-stop. Yet all it did was start and drive beautifully day after day, year after year for 11 years. Such a well built and completely dependable/reliable vehicle. When someone hit me and totaled it out there were 250K miles on the clock and everything under the hood was original except for the battery, starter, spark plugs, fluids, and air filters. Trouble is it goes into limp mode at 3k RPMs, gotta do something about it. Trying to figure out my next move. Fortunately we have a driving school so there are other cars she can use, but we want to get this one usable again! Then one of these days when she gets a different car we'd like to turn this CRV into a training car for the school. It's been a great car and aside from MPG it would be an excellent training car.
