A portion of these books were called deuterocanonical books by some entities. Some believe it is valid and that it should never have been removed, that it was considered part of the Bible for nearly 2000 years before it was recently removed a little more than 100 years ago. Some say it was removed because of not finding the books in the original Hebrew manuscripts.
Others claim it wasn't removed by the church but by printers to cut costs in distributing Bibles in the United States. Both sides tend to cite the same verses that warn against adding or subtracting from the Bible. Revelation 22: 18 19, The word apocrypha means hidden. The English language King James Bible contain books of the Apocrypha as follows.
One Ezras two Ezras Tobit Judith, additions to Esther Wisdom of Solomon, Ecclesiasticus Baruch, letter of Jeremiah, prayer of Azariah, Susanna, Bell and the dragon prayer of Manasseh one Maccabees two Maccabees.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was: Newly Translated Out Of The Original Tongues and with the former translations diligently compared and revised.
It is also interesting to note, that the beautify engraved title page which was to the Scriptures Simply say " The Holy Bible, containing the Old testament, and the New" with no designation separating the "Books called Apocrypha" [Even though they were bound in the middle of this section.] from the Old testament. The creators of the 1611 KJV went to great lengths to form a separation between the Old and New testament even placing a special elaborately engraved title page marking the beginning of the New testament. Yet they placed NO SUCH distinction between the end of the Old Testament and the "Apocrypha". Again this show acceptance of these Books as part of the Old Testament.

@@ScourbyYouBible I just listened to 2 Esdras for the first time. I had not read it before. I am convinced it is an inspired writing. I had no idea, as others have said, that Mr. Scourby recorded these also. Thank you for making it available. You say it was in the KJV Bible until 1855, that would be 244 years, not 274 years, yes? Or did you mean to write 1885? If you do publish a written version including the Apocrypha, please consider using the true Sacred Names. In the Old Testament, anywhere the word "lord" is placed, it was a substitute for the Holy Name Yahweh. And the word god should be translated Elohim. Our ancestors worshiped Yahweh, not the pagan gods around them. Of course, they often fell back into false worship, as is recounted in many books of the Bible.

Thank you for your comment. Enoch is part of Church history and is mentioned throughout the 1611 King James Bible. Watch the history of Enoch. Enoch fathered Methuselah who lived 950 years, and Methuselah fathered Lamech who fathered Noah. So Enoch was the great grandfather of NOAH. There were only two people God to directly to Heaven, Enock and Elijah, so one could give great weight to that. We have produced a video on Enoch for the part he played in the Bible and Church History. However, some like it and others don’t, if you don’t like it then don’t watch it. We are remastering the Apocrypha and publishing all the books of the Apocrypha to a playlist. You may not know this, but the Aprocrypha was in the 1611 King James Bible, between the Old and New Testament, for 274 years until it was taken out in 1855 for unknown reasons. So we are now in the process of putting it back.
