thanks steve.i was holding my comments back.mine was big,but they sent me the size lower pads.as you know,i used it on my route 66.the thing is really noisy,and after seeing you do the squeeze test.i dont think i will be wearing mine again

Drove three and a half hours to Black Hills Harley Davidson to purchase new helmets for the three of us. Reason for doing that was to be able to try them on and know it's going to fit, be comfortable, and be something your going to want to wear every time you're saddled up. Didn't want to play the, wrong size, wrong color, game of tag trying to order online.

It’s meant to flex. That’s one of the ways it absorbs the force from the impacts. First it bends, then shatters, then the EPS acts a a dampener absorbing more impact forces. The shape helps with rotational forces. Helmet is not armor that is designed to stop something getting through. It’s a concussion mitigation device that is designed to stop your brain bouncing around. If a helmet didn’t flex then you really would not want to go down on it. If it passed ECE 2206 which many of their helmets do, then it’s already better than some thousand dollar helmets from other brands that only pass DOT *cough* HJC

Get that, however, not that much, plus it just feels cheaply made and I wont be using it. My opinion obviously so you crack on, but I wont be wearing it. Saying its better than some thousand dollar Helmets is a bold statement that I disagree with. Appreciate your watching and for the comments.

⁠@@TheMilitaryBikerI stand on what I said. There are brand new full face race helmets from some brands that only got DOT. They get discounted on RevZilla by like 40% within a couple of months because nobody wants to buy them for obvious reasons. I do take your comments that it feels cheaply made seriously though. The sad part is we would never really know whether a helmet is good unless we wreck in it 😢

I liked the style of both this and the atlas 4.0, but they seem to be too bad. I think the first company that will get the same style helmets to work and well built first is going to be king
