This game is all on Marvin lewis. For someone that is supposed to be a master motivator and gets the most out of his guys, they looked like they didn't want to be there. He can't adjust on the fly and is constantly scared of the other teams stars. But hey he has a cool catch phrase. Sooo many wasted players prime (ben,ab,cam,tj). Dude is a clown!

The media narratives around Tomlin are straight gaslighting. The defense had visibly already given up in the first quarter, and the entire team was unprepared (like always), but he “runs the Steelers like a drill sergeant” according to the pundits.

What a brutal season for Steelers fans. I usually go to a few games a year... Next year I might just sit it out depending on what they do in the off-season. I'm now firmly in the fire Tomlin camp. I just don't see them making the deep and necessary changes required to get out of this now decade of catastrophic collapses. Beyond that, aside from Pickens, it's like the players are just there to collect a paycheck. No fire. No passion. They lose before the game even starts. The standard has become substandard.

The Steelers really need to treat this loss as a wake up call. They have to change their approach and live in the modern NFL. Invest in better coaching and offensive talent. I say keep fields and rebuild a bit. I’m even open to trading one of our 3 defensive stars… Steelers need some picks in the top 15.

It's not hard, it's a reluctant and stubborn Head coach! And Rooney II, the tight end coach, Running Backs coach, Wide receivers coach, the QB coach, the linebacker coach, and secondary coaches ALL NEED UPGRADED! FUNDAMENTALS, PROFESSIONALISM, AND DISCIPLINE NEEDS TAUGHT AND BROUGHT BACK IN PITTSBURGH.

No, it does not require a whole offseason. With Art II it will require a decade. He will force Tomlin to retire following a 31-point playoff loss following the '27 season.

The thumbnail for this episode is a very fitting visual of the direction of both teams. Lamar is easily out of the gates, sprinting like a stallion, while the Steelers are lying on the field, exhausted and watching their opponent advance to the next round. That’s pretty much this whole season in a nutshell.

I am reminded that the Steelers were in a rebuild, especially the Offense, this season, which they right off the bat didn't get to do as Troy Fautanu and a few others were dealing with injuries from way early on. The Steelers were picked to be dead last in the division, yet finished in second place, and I might add secured a playoff spot earlier than most teams in the NFL. The Steelers split in division games, but so did the Ravens. Of the 3 losses the Eagles had, the Steelers beat 2 of those teams. The Steelers did pretty damn good, just fell apart at the end.

Get ready y'all bc Tomlin will be here until he retires. Art II is one of the most passive humans to own a professional sports team. T.J. Watt will likely end his career with one playoff win at best. The 80's will be viewed as a better decade than the 2020's. The next 10 years will be the ultimate test for Steelers fans especially for those that don't live in the region. We'll likely see every team in the division compete in the AFC championship maybe excluding the Browns. Buckle up because it's gonna be rough.

This team needs proper coaching. Then and only then shall we judge if a player is really bad or just needs development. People saying that our roster would look good under a Shanahan style offense and a Flores type defense is great however we need to make changes. And it all starts with booting out Marvin Lewis
@Shanycole
@Shanycole 21 сағат бұрын
Thanks for being factual. Russ did not play bad. His QBR was 121.3. The offensive game plan to run the ball at the beginning of every game was horrible because the Steeler don’t have the RBs to do that against good defensive. Wish the coach would have let Russ throw more in the beginning of the games.

This is so disheartening for such a storied franchise. I’m not a Tomlin hater but my god how does Rooney not acknowledge that it’s time to move on… for both parties. What will now make me angry will be the Pittsburgh media’s kidding the coaches ass… I hope that won’t be the case.

Yanno, as a Tomlin supporter (that gets more impossible every season), and a pretty big Steelers fan, the lack of change where it matters, or at least the unwillingness to look at things, feels like a slap in the face of the nation. Does Rooney think fans are complete idiots or something? Lol. They're walking a slippery slope on that one. Don't underestimate your fan base. We can see where problems lie, especially if they pop their heads up season after season.

It's funny how you just seem to be glossing over TJ"s stats (or lack of them) by presuming he was injured. Others such as Jones, were not given that benefit when they didn't show up on the injury report. Fact is TJ is the highest paid player on the team and every season at the end he disappears because of injury. The greats play through injury and somehow are effective. I just don't see how he gets a pass every single time. TJ is great when he's perfectly healthy at the beginning of the season. Otherwise not so much.

Had to stop halfway through. So secretly not having flowers was a blessing to them. Lamar said we don't have our pro bowl receiver let me just forget the pass and run it and watching tj just tackle the rb time after time made me want to throw up like Henry already had 100 in the first half already like if they want to make the qb a runner I say hit him ever time even if Henry runs for 100 which he already did with us keying on him soooo adjust faster. Clean house

The stats that matters for the main boss is how many seasons Tomlin has been taking the Steeler to a playoff opportunity. Consistency. Check that stat and many of them are consecutive seasons. Minute 6:36 , yes , that is the root of the problem and that is the coach that probably won't return next season. This defense in personal was solid until it was not. We never did the required changes to make it work
