Some participants are just simple and functional, some are artists... But what touched me is young generation. John, Your work and Your time is not wasted...... So much to say, so much to add..... Just keep in that direction John! 🙏Thank you!! Congratulations to all 😀

Never before in the history of the internet has so much perfectly good firewood dodged the stove! Loved Pat Parsons quirky tote with a repurposed leather belt. Manuel Armijo's beer tote with bottle opener was a treat (You could sell those, Manuel). Gary MacAllister's tote with axe handle was right on the money, but the real stand out for me was Alex Showersburg's beautifully designed and crafted tote, a real work of art.

What a great idea! All those projects looked wonderful. Nothing feels better than finishing something, whether it's a painting or turning the last page and finishing a novel... A finished project really makes people shine with pride of accomplishment. It's nice that you put this together to bring that out of people. I enjoyed watching. :)

Wow, didn't know you would get so many entries! I especially like Patrick Parsons belted tote, also the one with the copper ends and especially the one that used a broken old axe handle. Clever use of great old wood! 👍👍👍 I've got so many of these around I couldn't justify building another one. I don't know what to do with the ones I got but now I have some new ideas.

I think that it might be nice to have a “voting class” for work presented to the contest as being built by a “real youngster” (not just young at heart) . Perhaps you already have established classes as this is my first time seeing the contest entries! And yeah, that’s why as a scouter,we had a “Senior class” PINEWOOD DERBY race for dads who wanted to test their Ideas racing against other dads. The prize was bragging rights, and perhaps a tasty chilled beverage! Very, Very impressive submissions! Amazing number of Entries! Maybe my Grandson and Granddaughter (they are 5year old twins) will enter nest year, we are still working on really basic skills.
