A little fact, in the tale When We Came Home, the Scarlet King is killed by 7 warriors each wielding a sacred spear along with the Brothers of Death. With the 7 warriors being: the Empress of Antartica, Harker the leader of the Shark Punching Center, The Old Man From Nowhere, A’habbat, Saturn Deer (who rode SCP-2845 into battle), Set, and Isabel Helga Anastasia Parvati Wondertainment V. Also in SCP-5317 it is said that SCP-2747 is keeping the Scarlet King captive in a tower (narrative).

1. They used parts of King's own spears 2. They had to nullify his protection seals to do so 3. Pretty much most of them got one shot right after each attack 4. They did not kill him yet, but damaged severely 5. It was Death Brothers who finished him off for good 6. 2747 did not seal King in "tower", 2747 sealed him in a narrative. *If killing King would've been that easy do you think elder gods would've had so much trouble?*

It cannot be emphasized enough: the SCP writers are the most dangerous for the Foundation. Also would SCP-3063 be a big threat to them. It's depending on the wish it gets. And the Sealed King and Ma'tol could also be pretty deadly for them. They're even stronger than the Scarlet King after all.

I want to know what kind of nurturing 999 would need to grow into the God of hope needed to take down the Scarlett King. That'd probably make a good Tale; the various ways the Foundation has tried to grow the tickle monster. Personally, I imagine it combining with a collection of other positive SCPs to become a fuller being, similar to how the Broken God supposedly is meant to, with all of its shattered bits. In particular, I imagine SCP-999 for a body, combined with 131 for unblinking and unjudging eyes; 5094 as its mind, educating with skill and kindness; and 2295 as its heart, with the desire to heal wounds and end pain. I'm sure there are other SCPs that could make up the ultimate God of Compassion, but I can't think of them atm...

I find it humorous that the scope of the Scarlet king's power would break someone's mind - we have created fictional beings that make him look like a joke - Perpetua, her son the Anti-Monitor, the Time Trapper, the Beyonders, and Mad James Jaspers to mention a few. Also SCP-6140 threw much of what the Foundation knew of the Scarlet King out the window.

To be fair, there are more vicious versions of him out there not covered here. In SCP-4231 (VERY NSFW, possibly nsfl), he can actually interact with and corrupt reality benders of any kind if they learn too much of him, or are to interested in learning of him. He can also restore memories to a limited degree to undead reality anchors in the article. In The Dust and blood canon, the only real threats that did stand against him were the Brother's death, each living incarnations of death itself. He also was able to crush the Broken god and made the Serpent of the wanderer's library flee in panic back home, and the final battle destroyed most of creation in the process. In the end, it took the gathering of all 36 of the thirty-six to join together to break all his seals, and then 7 warriors with seven sacred spears pierced him in seven places to finally kill him, even though 6 of them died in the process. By far one of his most powerful incarnations would be in SCP-5317, in which the Sarkic cults, the Mehkanites, the church of the second hytoth, the horizon initiative(Plus the cicada religion), the Fifth Church, and the serpents hand joined together to lock him away in a massive tower, away from all of his brides, armies, spears, and seals. Because the seven seals could never be completely broken, the Scarlet king continued to ascend through the tower, and called out his own victory. However, unbeknownst to him (And possibly the others), The lady of black thorns arrived, (SCP-2747), and managed to trick the king into sealing himself inside a tale of himself. This caused the king to realize to late that the number seven did not belong to him, but the Anafabula. Out of everything that tried to stop him, only a self consuming anti-narrative was able to easily overwhelm him without his knowing.

@@invictus6176 I don't think you realize just how powerful Perpetua, her son the Anti-Monitor, and Mad James Jaspers were/are. Perpetua created the *entire* DC multiverse, her son the Anti-Monitor destroyed one version of that multiverse (thanks to hypertime a reality where he failed also existed). As for Mad James Jaspers of Earth-616 his _lesser_ counterpart in Earth-238 could only be neutralized by wiping out the entire reality. He was only defeated by something his Earth-238 counterpart had made. Thanks to the Scarlet Witch he was revived and merged with that thing and then went universe conquering. and hasn't been seen since. Also there is a canon realty (SCP-6140) where the Scarlet King simply does not exist outside of the influence of SCP-140: " *The Scarlet King never existed.* The myth of the Scarlet King was invented by SCP-140-A to downplay the leadership of the Eptem Ansor and subvert the Daevite matriarchy in favor of a more familiar Western patriarchy." He doesn't seem to exist in the Compendium Phenomic Inquiry reality (SCP-6001) either.

But by that time The Batman Who Laughs had started draining her power and he eventually killed her. Eventually Wonder Woman fought the Batman Who Laughs to the End of Time itself where the combined forces of the Hands (Perpetua's people) and the enthalpy of the dying universe destroyed him.

I have an idea for a SCP 682 termination attempt. Put him up against SCP 4715 (demon born of war). SCP 4715 can regenerate from any of 682's attacks, and in fact will get stronger because of 4715's ability to grow in size and mass through the conflict of beings. The more 682 attacks, the angrier he will get because SCP 4715 wont die and the stronger SCP 4715 gets.

You know, I feel like the real threat SCP-999 poses to the Scarlet King comes from the simple fact that the Scarlet King isn’t a very good ruler, and his subjects aren’t very happy under his rule.

The first scp-001 (the true one) is actually the guardian of the universe. He is 10000× more powerful than all the gods combined and the funny part he was in front of us the whole time. He was the one that created all universes and gave birth to all the gods. The scarlet king is his son. His name is omega the God of all. He is the only thing that can stop the scarlet king. But he will not step in for he does not care. Cause everything the scarlet king destroys, omega just brings back. Simply put omega needs the scarlet king to destroy somethings in the universe to create new life. Omega created the garden of eden for a safe passage to him. He is just waiting for the day for the 05 council to finally understand how to get to him. Omega has given them all the clues and scps to do so. But every attempt is nothing but a failure cause they are doing it wrong. And yes omega walks the earth and he does drop clues. But the question is what will happen when omega is finally found and let loose. After all he is the creator of literally everything. He only ever came once through out all scp foundation history and that was when it was actually founded. He came in as the true him, a man with beautiful features, with eyes black but riddled with stars. And he spoke to the founders "they that seek true protection over all that is life, has to first protect life to even be able to come into my kingdom. For my kingdom give all everything they ever desire. But you will never step foot into my kingdom until you know the truth of the galaxy that lays awake all the time" the founders never understood the true meaning of the words omega said. So when the scarlet king finally is finally free to come to our universe. Will the scp foundation be able to get omega to help? Who knows. Maybe the answer was always with one of the scps in containment 🤫.

The Scarlet King has many incarnations, including his war against all of creation, his version that's stronger then all of his versions, MULTIPLE gods have hard war and the scarlet king comes out easily, The Gate Guardians god version could only pin him down at best.
