SCP 9997 (SCP suggestion) please take this idea into mind dr bob. You wake up to the sound of your alarm, 6:11 a.m. you stretch and get ready to get out of bed for work, all of a sudden your heart jumps. You see a strange figure peaking around a corner near your bedroom door. You dont move for a few minutes and your scared, to death. You just remembered that you dont have work today, its Saturday. Your confused as to how your alarm was set to 6:11 a.m. “i didnt set my alarm last night”, i havent set it for a week”. You say. Beside all of this subconscious thinking, your still distraught and terrified as your alarm is still beeping and the shadow figure is still around the corner staring at you. In fact you can only see the figure’s head with no facial features whatsoever. Its been past 20 mins of fear and anticipation, what is it going to do?, will it leave? Will it hurt me? Your mind races with thoughts. The sound of the alarm still going off is getting to you. You haven’t turned it off this whole time. You’ve been too scared to move. You want to turn it off, although you have a strong feeling you shouldn’t, you think that the alarm going off had something to do with the figure in the corner, and you think about what would happen if you were to turn it off. its too risky. Your the only one in the home, which makes the situation worse, you cant call anyone because your phone is on a small table near the door behind the figure or the head, actually as it is the only thing you can see around that corner. You start to think as if your just seeing things and its been over 40 mins now with you and the figure still staring at each other. You haven’t been able to move. Your just too filled with fear. Your too scared to move, but you start to get bored of this. You want to get up to confront the intruder, thats so hard to do knowing that the figure around the corner might not be human at all. Over time you try to thinks of ways you can end this. The figure hasnt move this whole time, it just stares straight at you with no movement whatsoever, you feel like your going insane as the timer still beeps and you want to turn it off, but then again, what would happen if you did. Its been over an hour now,and you finally get past the fear of the sight of the figure and slowly start moving and getting up out of bed. You have a skateboard under the bed, to use to knock out the intruder. Its not the best weapon but itll do. You slowly grab the skateboard under the bed and you stand up out of bed you start to move around the corner. The figure is still there. The anticipation builds again as you get closer to it, its not doing anything as you get closer it just keeps staring at you. As soon you as you walk around the corner and lift the skateboard up to get ready to hit the object. You see a body, its tall pitch black and thin, it looks nothing like a human at all. All of a sudden the anticipation breaks and something finally happens. In a matter of seconds after peaking around the corner to hit it, your already dead. it hits you with an unnaturally powerful blow, the last thing you saw were sharp claws. The mystery of SCP 9997, is yet to be solved. There have been over a hundred cases over the world with the same type of murder and occurence, three huge bloody claw marks across the face and cut deep into the skull. The SCP foundation has just come into notice with this certain scp. As cases like that have happened over the past 100 years. Attempts to capture the scp are impossible as these known murders happen randomly around the world every few weeks. However, the SCP foundation has just had a success in finding more information about SCP 9997. We send a D class to go to bed in a basic 5 meter by 5 meter containment room for 10 days. On the 9nth day, something happens. The professionals are finally relieved as they have been watching the d class for some time. What happens is frightening, the professionals and the d class see a dark figure poking its head from under the bed. Once again that same feeling of indefinite fear and anticipation rains over the d class, he cant see anything on its face, its as if its face is truly pitch black. One of The 3 staff behind the window knock on it making a gesture for the d class to do something or to get out of bed. The staff watch ad the d class slowly get out of bed and stand up, however in a matter of half a second the figure crawls from under the bed and gives a fatal blow to the face of the d class, killing him. The incident had happened so fast that the staff had barely saw it, let alone comprehend what just happened. The entity was gone, and it had disappeared as soon as it had killed the d class. Once again though, when the staff go to investigate the d class. They see those same huge marks on the face of him. After this testing another was performed with the same situation, except an expensive slow motion cam was placed in the room to try and catch a glimpse of the creature. After that plan had become successful, the staff of come to the conclusion that SCP 9997 is a 8 foot talk black thin figure with no facial features whatsoever, except for the body, which looks unnaturally thin and dry. 20 more test have been done over the course of a month, every single one with the same bed, 12out of 20 have had an occurrence of SCP 9997. The same thing happened on the first 10, a d class would be ordered to get out of bed, and every time they would be killed. The last 2 were interesting however. On the 11 th testThe d class wasn’t told to do anything and was actually told to stay in bed. After 10 minutes the d class went to fall asleep, but exactly 30 minutes after the d class had fallen asleep, the creature had killed him. In the 12th test the same thing happened except the d class was told not to fall asleep and to stay vigilant. After exactly 10 hours after the staff were tired of watching the d class sit in bed. The entity disappeared. Since then 30 more test of those 2 have been conducted and it is true that waiting and then sleeping for exactly 30 mins the entity would kill you. And then if you were to wait and not fall asleep for exactly ten hours, the entity would disappear and the anomalous effects of extreme fear on the d classes would go away. More test have been made to figure out what the foundation could do to shut down this, “safe class” SCP. And sense all of them have proved unsuccessful, if there would be someone else in the room while the d class was sleeping the occurrence wouldn’t happen. If they tried to shoot at the entity, while it is under the bed. Nothing happens, this SCP might just be indestructible. Lets just say that out of all of the different kinds of test that the SCP foundation has performed on this. They have all failed. This SCP cannot be contained. After all of the test ive mentioned, every single test ends up with a basic alarm clock (SCP 9997 - A) appearing in the room as soon as the d class wakes up, beeping…. 6:11. Am. Cameras in the room cannot see the clock as it appears in the room. The screen goes dark, and reappears with the clock in the room. If a staff tries to watch the d class the whole time as he wakes up and wait for the alarm clock to appear. The staff would simply not see it hear it, until they look away and look back at the room. It is unknown why an alarm clock with the time 6:11 am beep when the occurrences happen, but, it is a fact that the occurrences can happen all over the world and the anomalous effects of the alarm clock and the creature Dont seem to be effect by any environment. This SCP has just been discovered and the inability to capture it is frightening. I have more thing to add before i get back to my work though. In February the SCP foundation had a strange occurrence with SCP 9997, they tried a test with the d class just sleeping on the floor and in the morning, they discovered that the d class was simply gone, and that the anomalous affects wouldnt happen. They tried looking up information of the d class, and tracking his id card. They found him in a whole different country still sleeping, unaware of what had happened. This is very strange indeed as its another way to stay safe from SCP 9997, however it isnt the most convenient. The foundation has talked about how the entity wouldn’t have anywhere to hide in the room, and since the person sleeping cant see it body, the occurrence wouldnt happen. As of now SCP 9997 has been since uncontained. But the good news is, its a safe class SCP because the choice of staying alive is on you. Would you wait ten hours going insane waiting for the creature to go away, and hear the beeping the entire time. Or would you become inpatient and meet your ultimate demise to SCP 9997. THIS IS A MADE UP SCP IDEA THAT I HAVE SUGGESTED FOR DR BOB. if you Dont mind please take this into mind for your next video, and i would really appreciate it😉. You can change the scp number name if there is already an scp named 9997. Thank you!
