I imagine that its not spontaneous generation but mini-pockets of spider cloth, maybe 1-2 spiders at most. It might float around high altitude or fly through low altitude and abduct other spiders by lassoing onto spider webs for the other spiders to grab onto. It would be practically completely invisible to the naked eye or most observational tech until several hundred/thousand spiders make up the nest. Either this or micro fibers of the nest are all thats required to convert a normal spider so they dispersed through the atmosphere and any spider colony in a forest that touches onto it will slowely be incorporated before lift-off.

This article is relatively new, of March 2020. But 9:34 kinda set me off considering Foundation parameters on decommissioning dangerous SCP. Yes, SCP stands for Secure Contain Protect, and something along the lines of the dialogue at the specified time is acceptable, but usually only for something that is typically innocuous, such as SCP-1609, a teleporting chair that was shredded by the GOC and now is a teleporting pile of wood chips that is highly aggressive. But, the thing is, 1609 is contained, it actually came TO the Foundation for protection. It IS dangerous, but so are most things if you hurt them and back them into a corner, but so long as you don't attack 1609 it is content being mulch in a flowerbed. BUT, the SCP Foundation has active protocols to destroy anything deemed too dangerous, but especially anything considered uncontainable. If it is dangerous, but can be contained, they will try to contain it, but many times, the more dangerous SCPs are also indestructible/unkillable/just return again/etc. From the sounds of it 1506 is not only uncontained, by extremely dangerous and skirting the line of a Broken Masquerade, and because of this, unless they can contain it in some large low pressure containment cell, destroying it in order to prevent more civilian casualties, or a potential information leak would be the best course of action. The Foundation has destroyed SCPs for less.
@friendlyelites2 жыл бұрын
They do containment of extremely damgerous anomalies like this one specifically so they can research them before moving to decommissioning them. If they just went to set these things on fire it would've ended like the plane incident and genersted even more entities. Plus the whole deal with the articles and addendums is that we aren't always seeing the complete document, just the parts as its being written and new information is discovered. Until an scp is decommissioned or neutralized we can assume the research and containment is still ongoing.

There were some opportunities in this video to add some additional sounds, such as during the plane part (passengers screaming in the background, the engines straining, debris clattering around, etc). They also did all that they could to ensure that the fire was as large as possible; they disabled all fuel safety systems and fire suppression systems, hoping to incinerate the spiders.

The ending lol- “If indeed you still are, and.. I’m sorry”
This sounds like a pretty good horror movie concept, I know it would freak people out.

Volgun should recruit or maybe hire people to be voice actors for him. It could be good if there are other characters needed to be made. Ofc you gotta keep his voice as for telling the story though he’s too iconic for him not too be the main voice.

This SCP is HORRIFYING. Not only are they flying, but THEY’RE WORKING TOGETHER?! No. No. No. No. There is not enough fire we can produce without destroying the atmosphere to deal with this. We need to evacuate the planet at this point. Neutralize this SCP yesterday!

You know I never noticed before but the violin suspense noise that you play in the background sounds like background noise from the movie arachnophobia.

Nice to see a string of uploads lately! Only TheVulgun has the ability to drag the wife and myself back into the SCP universe. Thanks for the uploads! Edit: *clears throat* Well... This has... Been an upload. Excuse me while I go take a hot shower in bug poison.

Apparently these spiders can fly, not pigs. Just when snakes on a plane was scary too. Lol. Other things of interest connected to the video. Gematria calculator shows more on the math details. "And I'm sorry." That's the best sign-off yet, I think.

Wow...Cloudspiderland.... Rudyard Kipling wrote about aerial jellyfish preying on aircraft. SCP-1506 has a great deal more visceral power. "Thank you for listening, if you still ae...and I'm sorry." Perfect.

when hearing this SCP I pictured in my head an alternate version of the cartoon Dick Dastardly & His Flying Machines with Dick Dastardly and his squadron actually being early examples of SCP agents trying to contain these spiders instead of trying to catch one pigeon.
