When closed while an individual is present within, it will become jammed or locked by unknown causes preventing the subject's exit. Following this, an event that results in the disappearance of the subject occurs and the door unlocks once more when concluded.

his mistake was throwing the clean shoe. If he'd thrown the shoe with the ichor on it, that might have dived their attention because They eat each other's carcasses. It's best to test this strategy against the first battalion. After that the large toilet lid would be a more effective weapon. Flooding the room by blocking the toilet and sink would be another good way to delay the roaches especially if he could pray over it to try and make holy water.

The pain he went through is immense. I have a colony of about 300 or more Dubia roaches, which are a decent size. They don't bite, but they will if you have food on you. I was eating a piece of apple Danish cake, and some of it fell on the floor. So, I broke it up and tossed it in. Since I was there, I was going to take some out for my bearded dragon, which is the reason why I have them. When I grabbed a few, they started to try and eat the cake residue off my fingers and it felt weird and the SCP researcher in me wanted to see what would happen if I stuck my hand in there so I did... my hand was this dude lol. they swarmed it all over and were nibbling and biting me wherever there was food residue on my hand. Some weren't big enough to really hurt or anything, but the ones that were hurt. It's a weird kind of hurt. After thinking of how to describe it, I guess it's like being poked with a blunt pin. Not sharp enough to penetrate, but sharp enough to cause pain. I felt that all over, and only a few were able to break the skin. So, knowing that and seeing what damage that dude had, it had to have been excruciating.

The thing about all these "The door doesn't open" things is that, is it completely unbreakable? Like what if they had a bettering ram, or some kind of power-suit, or some sort of explosive, would that also not work? Could we make a building or vehicle out of these doors that is invulnerable to all damage? Like at what point does the 'magic' just stop being enough to stop someone from getting out? If there is really no way of getting out of these rooms, doors and walls and all, why isn't the SCP foundation not have a top priority to figure out exactly how these rooms are made? They seem PERFECT for containing most anomalies. Also why don't all containment chambers have some kind of airlock, pressurized or not? It wouldn't be fullproof in any way, but it should be the bare minimum... Even I use the porch as one to prevent the cat from slipping outside, how could a the SCP foundation now think of it?

Longtime viewer here! I wanted to share some love about some content that makes me really happy. Absolutely amazing video, I love how the style of the video is constantly evolving to better fit the stories you’ve created! To me, the greatest aspect of any SCP article or story is hands down, that bizarre, self-aware “eureka!” feeling you get when the article magically clicks in your brain somehow; As if the author themselves just shot some of their unfiltered creative process right into your noggin. A lot of SCP creators struggle replicating that same feeling, either giving too much away too fast, or in an order the author didn’t intend. What I absolutely adore about your content, however, is not only does it still maintain that “eureka!” moment for me, the method of storytelling seems (at least to me) entirely avoidant of anything the author wouldn’t’ve originally intended, while also being stand-alone narratives in their own right. Down to the thumbnails on the video matching more with the video thematically than directly, the method you’ve got to reproduce the feeling of stumbling across an article, reading it, and being both dumbfounded and obsessed is one-of-a-kind. I absolutely adore your content, and wish nothing but the best for you and your team.

I have severe entomophobia and arachnophobia (fear of insects and arachnids respectively). Everything about bugs gives me anxiety, way more than the average person. If I'm outside and a butterfly even flies my way, I get nervous. I've never seen a roach irl, thank God, but the very thought scares me a lot since they're bigger, more durable, and more disgusting than a lot of bugs I deal with. @@mariclark2845 They could have at least tried to open the door after it became apparent what was going to happen. How much did the Foundation know about this anomaly before the experiment? Given the agent’s shock, it seems not much, so they can be forgiven for not equipping the D-Class specifically for this outcome, but maybe that should have given him some weapon (though it may not have been much use).
