Theory: The bird doesn't just come back from the dead, it also is a temporal anomaly. The proof is that when it is brought back from the dead, it comes back at random stages of its life, and when it does come back, it isn't a normal reanimation, it is instant, as if a frame has swapped from one to the other.

Ooof. If something gave me false memories of a pet dying I hope someone would amnesticise me until I didn't have them anymore. I've been through sorrow enough without something brain whamming me into giving up my job and buying four budgies for it to take cover with. Given that it implants false memories of pets dying, it's unlikely it's actually a bird itself. Or that it was ever really dead.

That's the thing, we don't know. I'm glad Dr Greenwood saved 7323, though. The way Clark treated it was abysmal. It's unclear if the anomaly "made her quit", but I am ecstatic that she recognized how messed up the Foundation's treatment of 7323 was and decided to rebel.
