@@Jdon-pd1tn It was written in the Wiki that the Scarlet King has 7 children called Leviathans, two of which are confirmed to be SCP-682 and SCP-999. That means 'Leviathan' doesn't necessary have to denote a serpent-shaped sea monster as conventional tales indicated, my theory is that SCP-053 is one of Scarlet King's children as well since her adoptive parents basically found her in a desert, struck by lightning or fire? Because what else supernatural beings being born that way?

We're talking the best of law enforcement, military, lawyers, and every kind of researcher under the sun. You don't leave promising careers in most of those fields to risk your life hunting monsters or poking cursed objects with a stick unless a) It's worthwhile and b) the pay is good. And make no mistake, the Foundation has money. One of the 05s makes it their job to ensure that every dummy corp that the Foundation uses as a base is a more than just a cardboard cutout. Every business who's abbreviation happens to be SCP is an actual business and a very profitable one at that. It makes their lies more truthful and gives them more funding without having to use a Philosopher's stone.

SCP 999 is allowed to roam freely around the facility and able to interact with humans untill danger like a containment breach ect. SCP 999 has been shown to save any living lifeform from potential dangers in one case it jumped in front of a bird to protect it from a bullet. SCP 999 has also had occasions when it had cured depression from humans by comforting them.

Background for scp 053: SCP 053 is a little child with slightly better mental capacity than an average toddler. When someone remains in the *Direct* contact with her for too long, they will turn homicidal to both 053 and other humans then begin to brutality attack everybody in sight before proceeding to scp 053 and attempting to kill her but will always suffer a heart attack or seizure and all injures sustained to her will regenerate. Edit 1:Thanks for 100 likes, in case you are wondering between the relations between 053 to 682 is that In the file, it said that 682 just stopped and let 053 pet and play with him with only 2 low level escape attempts.

Could it be that only people who love scp 053 are not affected by her? When her parents first found her they might have not been affected because for them it was love at first sight. That would explain why they where able to take care of her. Also maybe the reason that watch got stronger at the end was because people who love scp 053 will try to protect her if she is in danger. Well the thing is, he'd only get an SCP classification if there were containment procedures regarding him that needed to occur. As it is right now, he's a loyal and hard working staff member of the foundation. No containment needed, and since he is a human there's no need for a deeper understanding of his behavior. So even if he is anomalously resistant to mimetic influence, he wouldn't really get a number unless he decided to go rogue. Even then, unless he has some hidden anomalous abilities that we aren't aware of, standard jail cells would be enough to contain him and he still wouldn't get a number.
