Some interesting things about the Wiki file on 1529: 1. L ended up dying later on in life, and his autopsy showed he died from extreme hypothermia. He had never gone mountaineering after the incident on Mt Everest, so it was likely a side effect of 1529 2. 1529 actually spoke to L before getting punched. L claims the anomaly appeared confused at his resistance and asked, "You would refuse my gift?" When he said yes it then showed him the images of the other climbers and told him, "Because it's there." 3. Another researcher actually tried taking over observation duty after the first person from the second incident was removed from the telescope; the same thing ended up happening to him as the first researcher.

11:05 This is because your blood vessels close up around your extremities when it's cold to create less surface area for more insulation and lower heats loss, and to gather all warm blood in the important organs in the center of your body to keep you alive, this will make your fingers and extremities and outer areas feel cold because they lose some warm blood flow. Your toes can go, your heart cannot. If your blood vessels dilate you'll feel warmer, because the warm blood will return to your extremities. However this will quickly cool off your blood and you will die, this is why your body constricts your vessels in the first place so that doesn't happen.

I wonder, you think the Shy Guy, SCP - 096, might be the offspring of SCP 1529? The Shy Guy may be the Prince of the Mountains, son of the King of the Mountains? I mean think of it. Immune to the cold, found in the mountains, quite pale and strong? And those that see it, die? Just a thought.
@Bluecake10 Жыл бұрын
Well yes but no, there is a theory that scp 096 was a Victim of scp 1529, he was a traveler wanted to climb Mount Everest unfortunately he came across the mountain king, he made a fatal mistake of saying he just wanted to climb, so the mountain king made him literally climb, he made him climb for ever, eventually become pale ,starving,skinny,and a monster, the mountain king let him go, but he went to his village, and when he saw his neighbor’s eyes it reminded him of the mountain king, so then scp 096 was made.

The foundation captured SPC 1529 with the help of Dr. Bright, and the loss of a few lives, but as soon as they left the mountain he melted into water. Bright bought the water back for containment anyway, only to find out that 1529 was still on the mountain. This leads to a new theory that maybe 1529 is an extension of the mountain itself and for it to be contained the entire summit of Everest would have to be locked down and facilitated... but we still don't know, and the funds required to quarantine Everest would be substantial not to mention the strings that would have to be pulled to declare the summit of Everest restricted to the public. It can be done, the council just isn't willing to fund a massive new containment site just yet, and the deaths caused by 1529 are easily covered up. It's cheaper to clean up after him than it would be to contain him is what we learned in the end.

Personal (and unoriginal) theory: 1529 is what created 096. 096 was just a normal mountain climber when he encountered 1529. He defied the anomaly, but didn’t escape. The anomaly opted to keep 096 trapped on the mountain and tortured. 096 survived on the mountain, his limbs elongating to suit the environment, and over much time, because the deadly anomaly of today. He attacks those who see his face because he was so traumatized by his encounter with 1529 that he becomes hostile instinctively as a defense mechanism once one views his face
