SCP-5002 is a Neutralized anomaly also known as A Death in Containment.
SCP 5002 is a true SCP Foundation murder mystery. When this reality warping anomaly was found dead in her cell with no apparent clues as to who or what may have killed her, it fell on SCP Agent Ellen O'Connor from the Department of Analytics to try and unravel the many threads that led to the death of SCP5002.

I like how they turned a murder case into something as serious as the possibility of being a reality warping SCP.

Thats why the wiki has some of the best writters on the internet. They take a troupe, and twist it. Or, they can take an obscure fear, and expand on it. Two good examples of both, are Just Another Murder Monster for twisting the troupe, and The Truth for expanding on uncommon fears, this one being fear of what lies beyond.

O'Connor's performance was never at any point less than stellar here; not only did she correctly identify who neutralised SCP5002 without proper authorisation, she also unveiled a host of physical security, protocol and personnel monitoring failures at the site. In doing so, she may have prevented a major containment breach. She even identified possible useful post-mortem areas of further studies of SCP5002's case which could greatly improve the reliability of containment on reality warping and mind-influencing anomalies in the future. The O5 Council should seriously consider putting her on a fast track to the O4 level in the security directorate.

Not only did she uncover the true killer of SCP-5002, she: Uncovered a security staff's drinking problem A forbidden love between an SCP and a researcher Weak security points designed to get SCP-5002 assaulted by another, far more dangerous SCP Faulty reports designed to cover up Site Director bias in certain aspects and General Site Incompetence Yeah this is worthy of being moved up to O4 security clearance. =

Based on people's awareness she can't control their minds, only their physical actions. Now, that ending gives the potential option that she managed to write a brand new story into these people's lives, but that still wouldn't be assault. Not in this case at any rate. Morally questionable on the SCP's part? Sure. Assault? Definitely not, there was no blackmail nor any feeling as if they were being physically controlled into doing it. There are probably some other SCP that may still be questionable even without any direct means of control but this one definitely feels like the domino effect god. Her powers are at their scariest, when everything you're doing is just a choice you'd make anyway with all available information.

scp 682 was once thrown in a well, when anything was thrown into this specific anomolous well it seized to exist. SCP 682 was gone from existance for a whole of 2 hours before he SOMEHOW reappeared. In another instance there is an SCP which is a book, any title given to the book dictates the story and once opened the entities within the room where the book scp is contained are transported INSIDE the book and the entire story takes place. The Foundation wrote a title on the book "A friendly entity to the SCP foundation definitely kills 682" and then put 682 in the same room as the book. By the end of the experiment the title of the book changed to "A friendly entity to the scp foundaiton who ALMOST killed 682" 682 literally changed the plot of the book, he has ACTUAL plot armor.

Considering how much of a classic who-done-it this is, I suspect that this may have been a ploy by 5002 and Dr.Yau to get her out, and I also suspect that Simpson was in on it. How hard would it have been for the serpent's hand to swap out 5002 with a clone? The three likely conspired and plotted over the course of several weeks, getting their plan up and running. It wouldn't be hard for 5002 to write up a story involving the death of her clone.

I like this one. Short of the 'big reveals' that can't be known by the audience as we watch, like the name of the Director being different than the SCP organization has marked, it was a story that could be followed and enjoyed. The ending is nice because it has a discrepancy that follows its own in-universe rules: because commands can be given through the same story if there are redactions, it makes sense that the security guy could have been puppetted into killing the SCP and that his being drunk would have covered his feelings of being controlled - even if the text never had such an event. Nice.

no she only imbues desire not ability she cant give someone the power to do something only the desire to do that thing, 682 would adapt and even if he didn't he cant kill himself, 096 might work but 096 when it sees its own reflection tries to kill itself but cant, the foundation isn't enemies of the GOC but if they were 5002 wouldn't be able to do something of that scale and the GOC would reform but be named the planetary occult organization or something

No, her skill isn't like that. She writes a story and people are forced to follow it.. IF they are capable of doing so. But the reality anchor in her cell prevents that. Now, if she was Leech Boy... sure... but this skill is mostly harmless compared to the usual SCP shenigans.

@@SeedlingNL I mean there IS the line where she asks "what if the D class was restrained when I wrote this" and that really makes you ask does she edit reality or control it's flow cause those 2 things are drastically different. Editing reality implies her writing change reality such that no matter the present conditions they WILL occur, Controlling reality implies that her writings control the available entities within reality to make her writings occur but is limited by the capability of the effected entities within reality as per her writing.
