Imo, this SCP is probs the prime example of how not to use [Data Expunged], Redacted or any other form of data removal from the document, I was seriously hooked up until the waking up part, then they just sort left it there- It's kinda like how the 354 extra-story was handled, almost like it was rushed.

I agree. Now, not only do we not know what it does when it wakes up, but we also don't know how they put it back to sleep. From the description that we got, this SCP should be a safe class instead of a keter, because if you lock it in a soundproof room, you'll never have to worry about it again. Maybe if we knew what it could do when it wakes up, it could be considered a keter.

@@Revstarallstar See that's the double-edged sword of leaving a cliffhanger, if for example, there was an addendum or some event in the past that explained or left breadcrumbs for how the angel acts the last time it 'woke up' leaving just enough implications of what happens if bells are in it's presence then I would be wholly fine with it. However, all we're left is, don't ring bells and something happens- what happens? I dunno everything is and isn't canon, woooo~ Sometimes the use of cryptic writing can work well if the execution is performed well, but sometimes, the removal of data most significantly when the execution is performed rather less than stellar, it makes it come off as either lazy, or the author really didn't know where to go from there and gave the basic annotation of leaving it there and to think we have to be the ones to figure out what happens next kinda adds to the laziness factor.

Since it only uses cuts and a neutrotoxin to cause pain, it wouldn't do much more than annoy 682. It might be a way to eliminate 469, but you don't want to use 682 to kill another SCP, since it can adapt and potentially gain the ability to be healed by noise

I'm actually the original author of this SCP and yeah, I wholeheartedly agree that the expunged ending is a total cop-out. Of all the things I've written for the SCP Foundation that was probably the one thing I'm the least proud of. Truth is, I just couldn't think of a good ending, so I expunged it and hoped for the best. But if any of your are interested, I just recently re-wrote the article, with an all-new, hopefully more satisfying ending.

Robots like that would likely need to be attached to the walls, anything that had to walk or wheel in would make some noise while moving. So they'd need a new cell so they could fit those, and then find a way to move it to the new room without making any noise. And even if they went through all of that. Even just cutting would make some noise, and it might just destroy the robot with it's blades anyway. So it'd be a fuck ton of cost for no real advantage. Humans are much easier for the foundation to replace, though i do question why they used agents instead of D-Class

Apollyon class scps are *very* rare, and typically are capable, or already have, ended the world as we know it (see this log www.scp-wiki.net/shaggydredlocks-proposal and scroll to *Access File: SCP-001 Revision #3/12: (1) Audio File* ). We aren't to undermine the strength of keters such as 682 and 469, but Apollyon class scps are a far greater threat, and it is important to differentiate a keter from an Apollyon so we can prioritize threats properly.

Why would they use a airtight chamber when they could use a vacuum chamber? No air = no sound. A laser could then drill into the pile until it kills the inner being? Strange how this has not already been performed
