Love when the tiles line up just right for a game like this. Bingos with J, Q, Z, and a blank J, all in one game - that's just special. Although now I wonder if anyone's ever managed bingoing with all 4 power tiles in one game...

Another great video! One thing I really like is when you dig deeper into the stats at the end, and tell us not only that an 18-turn game is impressive, but that there have only been X number of recorded games in history under 20 turns, etc.

I think it's closing on poetry that, everything else being equal, had Nigel scored one more bingo to tie Mark's five, their point difference would have been 1.

I saw a comment of yours on an old video where you said some simulation was done that found the Q would need to be worth 16 points in order to be considered neutral. I think that is extremely interesting and I feel going over that study in a video would be super cool. One question I have about this is should scrabble get an update? It sounds crazy but you’ve said before that only 50% of games give both players a chance to win and that just seems crazy low to me. I feel like we should welcome rebalances that would get that fair game percentage as high as possible. If adjusting the tile distribution or point values makes the game less dependent on luck, why shouldn’t we consider it? Maybe bingos should be worth less or maybe you get one free exchange per game if you have all vowels or consonants. Has scrabble ever had an update besides the dictionary in its 50+ year life? Anyway it’s something to think about and I think it would make a great video. I love your game breakdowns but they’re starting to blend together a little bit and I think a video about a topic like this would be a great change of pace

I think a very thorough video about tile values and how we might change them could be a banger... I'll add it to my list!
