Marjorie is nice, though she can be ruthless in charging as well in later part of the game, I don't think it's as bad as HIM. Moreover, in the later part of the games, we're more high-levelled and preferably already very prepared with our items and healing spells. I rarely die in the later part of the game... Except for that one time in Labyrinth with the Siren, that stupid Fish's surprise Instakill skill caught me off guard.

12:30 The first time I played this game, it's with a potato computer and it lagged like hell. But my child self still loved it. The advantage is, with all its lagging, I can actually catch big expensive fishes like Lover Snappers with old rusty fishing rod, because fishing depends on how fast you click to fish it. The greater fishing rod you have, the longer it will give you an interval time to press the button to reel it. With my crazy lagging, I can catch the highest level fish (Lover Snapper) with the lowest grade fishing rod.

Racoon (or everything, actually) is way easier if you use twin sword or single hand sword. Yeah despite the motion fix, those two remain the best weapon in Rune Factory at that point. I think up to the final one, the frame dodge trick is still easiest on those 2 weapons? I forgot.

In terms of fighting potential, Shino is the only one worth hanging out with. Bcs she's genuinely good. The others tend to weight me, in the end, so I can't be arsed to invite them beyond "relationship topic". They fixed that in RF4. Well, kinda...

Marian is crazy strong with magic attack. And Raven turned into phoenix and became more magic-oriented once you got the event where she revealed herself as half-monster. I like bringing Zaid along too, he's pretty great with his sword... Especially after I upgraded his weapon.

I'm confused. I looked at some threads on Gamefaqs and the people stated that Shino might seem to be strong early but falls off later while others such as Hazel tend to be more useful later on. I'm currently bringing Sofia because of her healing skills (which I don't see her use yet) and she's quite tanky (?) as well (she's recommended in the GameFAQs along with Evelyn).

Early game healing? Farm some random food off the ground. That's the main cheat of this game, after all.
