What are the main changes made in these, like what is the most common change you made through these? I didn't detect anything out of the ordinary with the 1st one (based on memory).

So, most of the effects are just multiple stacked equalizers and maybe compressors. But each of these tracks had its own challenges and all of the effects made from scratch. For Jazz that meant that the high frequency sounds have been drowned out by lots of artificial noise, so I chose to keep them down a bit. How did you do this? Is it the de-noise effect on Audacity? If so, what settings did you use (if they weren't default)

It's actually multiple equalizers stacked on top of each other and tuned individually. I did it in Ableton Live.

These are awesome, but i think they overall probably had more base. if you listen to the trailers for the paint tool weld tool and piston, the techno song is present and with a much stronger base than you've got in your remastered versions kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6DMdWB7fJJpfM0

@@amateur-alex I’ve been thinking about it for years. I was actually considering contacting the composer for scrap mechanic to see if she has the original songs before they were compressed for the radio, and is able to release them/provide them, provided it doesn’t go against any contract she has with axolot. In the meantime, I bet you might be able to filemod the game and replace the terrible radio with your improved one. Unfortunately I think that would involve decoding and repackaging the audio banks. I’ll ask around.
