You can close off the roof at the beginning as long as you don't build that wallframe. Getting up is easy with a half wall, and once you're up with all 6 large boxes crafted, put a twig triangle in between the other two and you can easily place all 6. Destroy the twig to get back down. Voilà, you now have a roof + the boxes from the start for safety reasons.

I use to have a base full of compost, next to Bandit. Bought pickles and filled each one, you still make profit but it's a full time heavy labor job. They killed it by only allowing limited items to be sold at a time before having to 'recover'

If you're near bandit, you can buy water jugs and recycle for metal frags instead of outpost.

Tested with 5 horses...they slowly died down to 2. If you stay active and interact with them they will survive but you can not leave them unattended. It will drop down to the 2 per feeder.

Horse stable can only feed 2 horses at a time, if you have more horses, add more horse stable. It should work

The issues is the fertilizer to scrap trade at Bandit. You basically have to stand there all day since there is a cooldown

@@jamesmoore228 that and "thousands of scrap an hour". The price of the horses, delivery fees, trip to bandit, combined with the cooldown makes this way less effective then farming tunnels for example. Plus if you solo like in the title you wont have someone to stand at the other end of the trade.

Wally1k's server = No cooldown, lots of Vanilla+ servers remove that shit cause it just wastes time, just find the right ones, plus as he said in the video, this is mostly for like, Last day of wipe when you dont wanna PVP, and for the player this is a better timesink than losing fights all day (cause not everyone is goated at the game)

I personally built this as a starter base. having the boxes up top allows for easy movement, easy to place furnaces + any workbench, its a nice cheap base with decent storage

The "fuck you tc room" doesn't require destruction of window frame, but just destruction of tc and placement of sleeping bag inside - raider simply respawns inside the "fuck you room" and throws stuff out of the window, or puts it into new tc waiting on the other side of the horizontal bar. There is little safety transporting anything from Bandit camp to the base though, you may end up giving away all that loot + wasting another 20 scrap for the fee.

Keep in mind, you don't have to buy a composter, you can craft it too. And it takes forever to turn fertilizer into scrap, slow enough that it feels almost not worth.

I use a macro to so I can afk and do other things. It’s still time consuming but at least I don’t have to sell it myself.

@@heimdall4148 I don’t think of it as that. I coded the macro using python. It doesn’t actually use any information from the game (player position, outpost stock). It simply clicks points on the screen on a timer. It doesn’t abuse bugs or provide an advantage. It just allows me to afk and do other things while selling my shit.

I Always live in a 16 horse stables and i never get raided, its important to note that to really benefit from dung/fert u need servers with the never out of stock vendors. or you are lined up for literal hours hahahaha. Good Video man

This would definitely be a secondary base. Ain't no way I'd be trusting having this is my main base. So if that's the case this base would be pretty close to Outpost anyway. Not only that but there are fishing bases which aren't as AFK friendly, but they're definitely a lot more low-key.

you can fit sub / boat in 2x1 space. just get the height right, 2x1 garage door and 3 triangles on the front for airlock + TC. The sub side needs half walls to come to the same height as the TC / airlock, which you can put a floor on to hold boxes inside. only holds a few boxes but i've seen this design a lot

I have a macro to sell the poop. Still takes 25-30 mins to get a mini. Worth it as a big group, don’t recommend as a solo. Bandit is a bottleneck looked over quite a bit.

@@adama834 it’s not a macro that interacts with the game and uses illegally obtained information such as esp or anything like that. There is no “hacking” involved. I gain no competitive advantage. It only clicks certain coordinates on the screen at certain times. Believe me I hate scripters and hackers just as much as you, I just don’t feel like sitting at bandit for an hour when I could be going outside (and, get this, touching grass).

With some difficulty, you'll have to lead them. It's hard to get a horse through a single door. Easier to get through a double door or a garage door. If you want to just be able to ride them into the base then you can't have a single door as the front door you'll need garage doors.

Only two horses can eat from a trough. If you cram more horses in there they're not going to do anything and they're just going to die.

Yeah they will poop, but they won't eat from the trough, and you can't adjust a horse into a trough that already has two horses at it, you need to unpark one of the horses so that you can park the other one.

You forgot about something, you can't transfer loot to yourself or a teammate if any of you is authorized on TC, I did it this wipe on official server. So you forgot about clearing auth. Also, a good tip would be to make "small offers" instead of max/for max, for example: 1 wood for 5 scrap and transferring 2k scrap will cost only 20 scrap fee but if you choose to make offer 200 wood for 1k scrap you will need to make purchase two times.

High quality is so easy to farm. You just have to set up base near outpost and hit signs with paddle all day. (you also get scrap). Its kinda slow, but you can do it while your animals poop and your plants grow. It is however very very very safe as you are immune to all damage inside and you can use vending machine to send stuff to your base.

Okay so you actually don't have to wait hours. You don't even have to go to bandit. Sell the fertilizer in your shop. Especially if you're base is outside bandit camp. Price the fertilizer a few scrap under what it sells for at bandit camp. People will buy your fertilizer and then sell it themselves at a profit. Not only are you making scrap for a small shipping premium, you're making other players waste their time spamming the sell button while you're out making progress. Set up 2 or 3 bases like this and you'll be set. Hell at that point you can probably bulk sell fertilizer to clans and use the extra to farm berries and make teas, also for selling.
