What percent ratio works generally for 60-70% silver jewellery? How much of distilled walter and Nitric acid would be needed? Should i dilute silver nitrate solution before adding copper in it?

After all the cement has formed what do you do with the remaining solution dispose it?

It all has to be processed first before disposal. In short, I drop the copper with iron. Drop the iron by adjusting the pH.

Do you check the waist solution for silver with sodium chloride or HCl?

Only if I need to be certain or feel like playing around. The spent solution will go into a stock pot with copper. Any traces of remaining Ag drops out in there.

What size filter paper do you use for silver here please?

I use Whatman #2 qualitative filters. The size varies pending on the size of the funnel I'm using. 😀
