This is not 200 years old, but over a hundred years old…..my grandfather kept small journals, and when Oklahoma became a state he helped take the first census as a notary, also written were the impressions of my Granny, when they met, and as they dated! Very special! I really like this journal, thank you for making it your own, this is a special project!

This is really cute! So far, I see it as a coupon holder. I'll have to see if my daughter would use it that way. She's a coupon user. The oldest thing I very found was an old medicine bottle. Old. Blue. Maybe liniment? Cough syrup? When we first bought our 40 acres about 45 years ago, we found that previous owners had used a gully as a dump, and we found several old things. Funny shaped canning jars and jugs, a wooden yoke, etc. Fun to speculate! TFS🤗

Love the mini album. It's really pretty !! You're right nothing has to be perfect. I saw in a movie about one of the SW Native Americans tridional weaving. The woman said that when weaving a blanket they purposely put an error into the piece cause only the Great Spirit is perfect. No humalog or work they do can be perfect. I dont remember whish tribe sh was from, but found the tridention to be an interesting co concept. The oldest thing I've found is an origins old colman lantern box. It's not quite 100 yes old, but is cool. My dad had the really old ones that he had to pump to get it lite !

Dearest Miss E and everyone, Please oh please if you ever come across old letters, ledgers with entries, not blank, diaries and journals, Please check with your local library or state library or archive, the historical, genealogy society or the college or university closest to you for possible microfilming or digitizing *before* you craft with the pages. Your sister wasn't able to pass those letters on but if copies of those letters were in an archive or on the internet someone from the family might find them yet. So many floods and fires have happened in my family I know I would be happy dancing for days if I could find an old letter or ledger entry that showed where they were living and what was going on in their lives. Off the soapbox and back to crafting. This is a really neat project as always. I'm going to get my supplies together and re-watch in a craft along
