@@et4949 Not necessarily , it promotes conservation, education and rehabilitation for animals that don't do well anymore in the wild. It really depends on the owners of the zoo. Because if we base on your statement that they keep animals captive, then that's what you just witnessed in this video. We just wish that all Zoo owners are like Jacob, knowledgeable and really cares for the animals.

you have 1.3 tortoises in the same container with known fungis .. why no quarentine, just straight into a pen? unless you took your tortoises to a vet before they went in that pen? your a big channel now, people watch for mistakes just be warned

Fungus that occurs naturally and really doesn’t affect them at all. It happens in the wild. This fungus is caused my high humidity

@@JacobFeder you said these are wild caught, they can harbor parasites or other bacterial disease.. im not hateig i'm just making sure the proper steps/thoughts were taken :) wild caught has a very low survival rate because of these sort of things im sure your aware. keep up your vids dude i do like your content, this just looked a lil bad puting them together and then your current animals showing sign of it starting anyhow. A tortoise health check is done head to tail and also done on shell quality, bacterial fungus is treatable like you said :) and its weird to see that sort of protein pyramiding in that tortoise since it wasn't a pet.

I know im late to this video and i have no idea why. Your one of my favs and my only complaint is that I wish you made a video every day like Brian the snake man and HBC. I personally want both but it needs to be good for my 6 year old. What kind of Turtle do you think would be best? We live in Oregon. I would love a tiny tiny turtle (yes i know i dont know what im talking about) lol . i want YOUR opinion. I really hope this is seen by you. My son has had a rough couple years and I wanna give him a gift that he can help raise and have a longtime family member and friend with. Thank you and keep up these wonderful videos.
