Very fun looking. I used to have a roadrace car and would get cars for free or near free and use the parts on the racecar then part out and scrap. Always found it fun work. I was a single guy operation, so metal was cut to a size I could lift and carry to my trailer. It was interesting to see scrap steel prices over the year. One trip and I could buy myself a large dunkin coffee and a muffin. Next time, I've got enough for 3 tanks of gas. I see you traded the S2000 for a Vette. I did a smaller level version and once needed some discontinued hasport swap mounts. I traded 4 boxes of parts with a guy across the country for them. He sent pickup tags and UPS came up the driveway.

The T56 was definitely used for all sorts of cars, Vipers, Mustangs, Corvettes, Ram trucks, but not the Demon, those are dual/multiclutch, the T56 is a 6 speed Manual, I’m sure they swap them in but I don’t think they come with them, maybe an updated version in the older hellcats that were manual

I LOLed my ass off when I saw this, and cried a little, because at first I thought it was MY C6. Short story, I got side-swiped on I65 (right past the turn off to the Vette museum i might add) and did a 180 and hit the rock wall on the side of the highway rear end first at 70 mph. The diff came up though the rear floor, and sorry ruined the radio with the bell housing driving the floor into the dash. My wife and I had no injuries, not even scratches! Impact twisted the rear end to a 30 degree off set from left to right. The real laugh was I started it up and DROVE it onto the flatbed, because he couldn't get under it. Oh yeah, the side swipe de-skinned the passenger door and rear passenger fender. Then it went to Copart. sigh.

@scraplifegarage2 жыл бұрын
Nope! Those are some of the best ones. That rear tub can and will crack. GENERALLY insurance companies write that as a replace, which is a massive job. In reality it is perfectly acceptable to glass it up which is super easy. Those are some of the better cars out there that you can buy if you want to rebuild. That said, do your due diligence on the car and make sure there’s nothing else going on with it.
