Farmbots and haybots have a glitch so haybots can't do any damage to loose and mooving objects, farmbots can do some damage to loose objects, but in very rare situation all is normal with stationary objescts, when something is welded to the ground. Other bots are normal. I hope they will fix that, they must to. If this glitch didn't exist, hank tank would be completly gone.

Next survival series challenge, try to build a base in every special location in scrap mechanic (the mechanic station, scrap city, on top of the warehouse, etc.), each having different theme that matches the location. Also each of them having all of the essentials (crafting bot, refiner, farm?, etc.). The more challenging and the more ambitious the base location is the better

1 final episode. You should repair the Hank tank (or revert to the backup before this episode) and enabled dev commands so you can see just how many thrusters it would have taken to get the Hank Tank to fly and used as the rocket to get you off planet. I know it wasn't a feasbile option for the nomad series without using dev commands. Alternativly rebuild the Hank Tank in Creative (at least as close as possible) and see how many thrusters it would take ot make it fly.

I have an idea for a new series. Build your base in the scrap city. I imagine it would be like the walking dead with hordes of enemies around all the time. The only way to survive the streets are with a battle tank/apocalypse vehicle. Also a mech suit would be really cool! Smaller super fast vehicles for scouting, like a motorcycle. End game could be to fight the farm bots in the burned forest like you did in this video. Or make a vehicle capable of quick travel via land, water and air. Can't wait for the next chapter in scrap mechanic survival! Loved this series, keep up the great work!

You need to do this series again. Hopefully they will add a few things. Glow-bug tanks would be nice. The trash monster on the warehouses. They should add things to the clothing sets... like one set moves faster, one gives you armor, one you do more damage with your hammer.... They also need quests for your log book. Grenades would be great or a detonator for explosives that you make with a radio and adhesives.

I'd love to see some sort of destruction derby with the Hank Tank. I'm thinking of something like you and kAN and Cosmo each in vehicles with the complexity of the Hank Tank and use explosives on each other or get damaged by explosives in another way. It would be awesome, because it has so many parts that can break of or even out of your creation. It would be very visibly pleasing.

I got an idea for what to do in your survival world where you have a local base: Farm lots of broccoli and build a truck to collect farmers to get all the purple boxes from the trader. Also you might loot all the warehouses on your maps to get all golden ones. With the update, there should be a new use for all the spare boxes.

SM since there are 2 pairs of everything in a map usually excluding the trader (correct me if im wrong), can you do like a 2 player survival series but versus.... one person tries to get the other person taken out or something?

There are two of many things, but the locations are not equal. One set of packing plants is close to the trader (one is always just south of the trader), while the other set is on the far side of the map. It is hard to haul crates all the way across the map to the trader, so the second set of packing plants is worthless. A large area of the map between the spawn point and the trader doesn't spawn farm bots. That area contains one mechanic station and one packing plant. The other mechanic station and the other set of packing plants have to deal with farm bots wandering thru the area. So one player will get a mechanic station with farm bots and have to haul their crates all the way across the map. The other player doesn't. Plus, the first player basically has to enter the second players area (and defenses) every time they go to the trader. There is only one spawn point and starting area. Two people going after the starting green boxes will be challenging. There is only one launch facility, only one second ship, and only one scrap city.

What a FANTASTIC series! Loved it! You should do a Fant Mod series before Chapter 2 drops. I don't know that anyone has done that yet. Or at least I didn't see one with a cursory search. He actually just updated the mod yesterday where you don't have to replace game files. Just subscribe to the mod in workshop and start a "custom game mode".

There's a possibility that you had more than one burnt-farmbot-biome on your map, 'cos there's a procedurally generated amount of warehouses, and some times the spots have to be filled when the quota of warehouses is already reached, so the rest of the spaces are filled with other stuff...

It might take into account the velocity of the hit as well. Meaning that last farm bot, swinging so close to the hank tank, wasn't dealing the max damage it could. But that also gives us the information that Tier 3 wood can withstand their stomping for the most part. So lets see more Tier 3 Wood in your next play through. Tier 3 Wood Wedge Gang?

There's a weird glitch where normally weak blocks are indestructible to farmbots, i tanked a farmbot with a cardboard mothership powered by a piston engine. It did nothing. literally nothing. I don't know how they did ANY damage to the hank tank, let alone break t3 wood. I think it has to do with having a craftbot on your vehicle; for some reason the craftbot is giving the nomads immortality.
