The collision physics are a little better than before, but for this game mode, getting randomly flung into the air at 100 mph is only a little better than instantly falling apart in every crash.

Yeah, and then as far as damage goes in this new update it feels like guaranteed spontaneous combustion after just a couple hits(if still not the first) Where in the past at least your seat would still be there commonly with the crown (armored seat) Plus if you had luck in the past your vehicle could possibly take a pounding and still be functional, but now with how the damage spreads throughout the build on average it feels like only 2 hits (I should say that I myself actually built specialized melee vehicles and loved dethrone myself and that yes most regular build in the past in some ways were worse. But now with the update it feels a lot more limited when making good melee vehicles because of just how much the damage spreads and that fact the damage is almost guaranteed) Many of my old melee builds now are just like every other build:(

@@galoezarcommand2281 on average i can slam into multiple walls and still have 3 wheels and like 1 or 2 engines which is better than before, i dont really fling at all either. this update is a lot better, you can full slam into walls and lose 0 parts but next time you do you lose a little, then a lot, then youre undriveable. it makes for more fun especially for when you can take a jump and land it without having your whole bottom essentially fly off, also the glowing is a nice damage indicator, the damage is way more consistent and the damage spread is great, theres not really anything to hate about the damage.

Hear me out here: each player builds half a plane, which then gets attached to the other half made by their partner. Then, one player flies the abomination while the other has control of the weapons. Finally, after every round you each get 5 parts to add to the other person's half of the build.

I'm not sure they can combine 2 separate half builds easily in trailmakers. But a relay half build should be possible. This requires at least 4 people. A variation for 1v1 if they can't get enough people, is swapping build between 2. Each player first build 30 blocks for the other player, to which they can't edit and only add on to up to 100 final blocks (30-70 so they have enough room to fix sabotages, maybe other ratio up to them). After each round they then swap again and adds 10* blocks. This can work with more people too if they just round robin it. It's a combination of fixing/sabotaging and balancing it so you don't end up screwing yourself later.

(Can be tweaked for balance and fun) 2v2 battleship war. 1 person controlls a slow, heavy firepower and armoured battle ship. The other controlls a fast, light firepower and armoured destroyer/scout. The small ship can respawn as many times as it wants using the battleship as a respawn point. When the battleship goes down the small ship can no longer respawn. The battleship destruction is the main objective. Battleship: 50mph speed limit, 300-500 block limit, 0-2 energy shields, and 12 weapons total. 6 "bullet" weapons (smart cannon, minigun, and blaster) 6 "explosion" weapons (rocket and large cannon) Destroyer: 150mph speed limit, 100-200 block limit, no shields, 3 weapons total. 1 "bullet" weapon and 2 "explosion" weapons.

Amazing video as always! Just a thought about those moments you just fly up randomly and start spinning. TLDR; your wheels grip the frame of your vehicle. The game freaks out when the wheels forces are applied to the vehicles body, and crazy flips happen! I THINK its because your wheels end up gripping onto the vehicle itself. If given enough force, im betting some weird, glitchy but 100% video game esk shenanigans happen, putting the force of the wheels on a block that is stationary, but also part of the wheels supporting structure.

You should totally make a video of bomb tag, where you put sensors on the front and the back of the vehicle. When the tagger sensor got triggered it will stop the timer of the dynamite, but when the runner sensors got triggered the timer will start.

Maybe revisit this and add more chaos to the mix? Set random timers for EMP's aimed straight down on your vehicles (with enough distance for them to impact the ground) so that you are a hazard to yourself and everyone around you. You might be driving along in the mud and then you might get the crown stolen from you and then ZAP! you and the new king now have problems. Or maybe limit it to bulldog engines on thin wheels or landing wheels to make it both hilarious and painful. Perhapskis? Sorry for the ever growing comments, but I just had a crazy idea for this. "Chariot style." In otherwords, you have the teams separated and you have 1 be the source of propulsion and steering, but the other is a rider hanging back away from the other teammate's vehicle. THEY are the one's who have to claim the crown and only THEY can win. I don't know if there's a way to make vehicles/players ineligible for Dethrone, but it'd probably have to be on an honor system. If the "horse" of the chariot gets the crown both players have to backspace out and both sides have to wait for the crown to reset or the other team just gets a shot at the crown (because collisions are still jank. Like this could be a fun team mode of only 1 person on the team is able to claim victory and the other has to be the literal vehicle to carry them there.

Collisions are.....different. I can't claim their better, it's more of they've laterally shifted the issue. Yes, you don't disintegrate on impact, but now you glitch meld into each other as the system takes a second to process the collision, updates, and then yeets both of you with far too much force and either 1, both, or none of you are ruined from it. Like you experienced this the other video Scrapman with your "Floor-is-Lava" car. The landings with suspension can either be fine or the can bug out and just wreck you. Prior to the update it was you land with some amount of damage and the current "landing fine" was minimal damage and the wrecking landings would be you just breaking in half and losing every important piece off of your build. So I would say Flashbulb needs another update or 5 to refine it to a workable system. It's just too binary currently of either you do get a perfect landing/impact or you don't and everything goes wrong. Also, I'm just waiting for one of these challenges for when you guys to get back together and the scripted question gets asked, "Okay guys. Have you finished building your vehicles?" for one of you to just be like, "No." And another to be like, "We were building vehicles? I heard Hercules. I made a statue!!!!" or something like that. I know you coordinate the video prep and build up, but still just once, it'd be hilarious if someone just didn't do the assignment or had enough time to make a side project and showed that first.
