Paul, Have you ever seen the trucks which deliver propane tanks to a job site? ---or---the trucks which deliver and set the cement vaults for grave sites? They both have overhead hoists on a rail down the center of their beds and overhangs the end of the bed so they can drop the load wherein is needed --Well -- A lightweight version would be a help to you in loading heavy stuff and flipping things like water heaters. You ladder rack should be able to handle a pretty heavy load. Just a thought.

Having done many resets and remodels in retail in my years, the way those shelves were handled by autozone is downright criminal. I've NEVER been allowed to just throw that stuff away. We have always had to stack, and wrap them on pallets in as good a condition as possible, and they were returned to the corporate Warehouse for reuse or if too dated/damaged, recycled. I'm not sure why but that really got my blood pressure up.

I grew up using cast iron skillets. There is nothing better for frying chicken, searing meat (season and sear steaks, put a pat of butter on top, top it with foil and finish in the oven to your choice of doneness), and if you fix anything with tomato it will leach iron into your food (fights anemia). Just be sure you season it (grease/lard is better than oil, oil sometimes is sticky). Also the best for cornbread. Great hauls!
