hey Paul!! I had an idea about your hand truck that keeps getting in the way but can be absolutely crucial for a scrap and pallet man: stick it on the rack above the cab. That way it can stay out of the way until needed. That's my 2 cents anyway. I love seeing you do your scrap route. Still thinking about that little lime green magazine rack thingy from a couple weeks ago. I so would have saved that thing. Happy scrappin'!!

Hey Paul, you might want to look around your area for an architectural salvage yard/reseller. That cast iron looked like antique iron work. If you knew a reseller that dealt in iron work and other decorative or architectural stuff, you might be able to sell it to them. You would net more for the items than scrap weight and the reseller would be able to sell it on. Just my two cents, not holy writ.😊

The X-ray machine does not Oleg into a cigarette socket - that piece is the trigger to fire the X-ray when the tech is safe. That was probably made in the 1980-90’s.

Not a cigarette lighter plug, but the button the x-ray tech pushes to make the exposure.

Hello Paul.. I love the scrap & pellet man . Love the funny things you say and love the prayers.. so I laugh and I am blessed in the same thing awesome.. but does your scrap yard take things like city light poles or anything that might look suspicious scrap ? They don't check your load so how would they know if some dumped something that they stoled or not take . Just wondering.. thank you .. been watching for a long time .. thank you

They do check the load. There is a cameras are above the scale. The cameras displays on a monitor in the office. Plus they have workers that look through the scrap and can tell what people throw off their trucks and trailers. If I have municipal scrap, I need to have a letter from the municipality. If I have something from a supermarket like grocery carts, I need to have a letter from the company
