Those metal shelves for closets, flea vendor's use to display this GS on, you could be making money on those also. They hang wreaths, jewelery to show off their items. Biggest sale times for Crafters is October to March/ April. Check out Lowe's for prices. Try sell locally at first, if not they pay shipping or pick up.

So nice when you have someone who can fix things to be reused (lawn equipment guy) Growing up everything was repaired and then reused. I dont know how many times I went to the dump with Dad to find old motors and bits and pieces to build things. I still have a lamp he made from old brass fittings. Having the garbage man work with you is so very cool. Our society today is too disposable. Have a great week Paul. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤

Here in CANADA there ARE some areas where SOME cops will charge a person for picking scrap and get yelled at by Judges. As far as I know, ANYWHERE in North America(minus Mexico) it is LEGAL to pick scrap metal. I picked scrap for 4 months once. The one house that had enough scrap to fit in a 8 foot truck box. I started loading and the owner of the house called the cops. The cops HELPED me load the scrap metal. $900 for the load(I was overloaded because my 1/2 ton had a full ton on it).
@ScrapPalletMan5 жыл бұрын
Cops helped you load the scrap? That's amazing :-) good stuff
@jenniferwright83555 жыл бұрын
Yes, because in the US if it weren't legal to go through the trash, then the police would have to obtain a warrant prior to searching trash for evidence! No one wants that. Many cases have been solved by going through trash when there was not yet enough evidence for a warrant. :)

That too is increasing and more people wait to call you to take their stuff, have special spots for just you and wave you down! They want you over other scrappers because you have class, respect and show a good ethic! You dont take metal like most would from the recycling companies, you clean up your mess and other messes and you show love to the people and the who community! I was watching some of your videos and was seeing you praise the Lord for being good to you. I have been doing that more than I use to myself. Anyway, while I was watching, and I couldn't get something off my mind and I am passing this on to you. I kept thinking that If you were to scrap on a Monday and donate that days proceeds to your Church that the rest of the week you will be more bountiful than you have been in a while. I am not saying this is something that you should or shouldn't do. I am just saying I thought maybe it was something I should pass on and you can make the choice and make a project video of it to see if you would be more bountiful or more blessed that week. I really don't even know why I am passing this on. But I just felt I should. You may think I am totally crazy for this comment. But no matter what you decide May God Bless you in all your endeavors and give you the strength to keep doing what you enjoy.

@@ScrapPalletMan I have Type two diabetes and heart problems so I sit at home and watch youtube videos a lot. I use to be clean-cut and one day I thought about Sampson being given Strength by not cutting his hair so I Prayed and asked God to give me sort of the same deal but instead of the physical strength I asked for mental strength. So that I could fight through my pain. I do not know if God agreed or not but I know he heard my prayers. My hair and beard are now long and even though I have pain I am able to bear it. And even though it is hard to keep all this hair I am not going to renig on my promise. I praise God for every day. And if in the future I do die I will walk through those gates without any pain and a mane like a lion.

25:25 - That's a coating to keep the wires from unraveling or cracking, I know with little commutators if they don't do it the force of the motor starting can actually pull the thin wires until they break. Some older motor even fail because they used to put a resin or enamel on them that'd crack and chip off, once that started the commutator would die shortly after. Might also help to prevent arching also, I'm not sure.
