Scrappi Cardi // Part One - Sunburst Squares & Gauge

i do plan on publicizing the videos at the end of the summer - but for now this is what i'm comfortable with due to the amount of work it took to create the content & create the pattern. thank you for understanding!
part one of this series is a quick instruction on how to crochet the modified sunburst square & gauge (which does play a role in the cardigan itself). i also show how i like to change colors & close that pesky hole in the middle of the granny square (haha, yes! i have a few tricks up my sleeve)

I'll try to keep this short 🤭 it really depends on how you decide to do your edging + cuffs. For my original Scrappi I used one entire skein. And it was shortie and my edging was on the shorter side. However I have made quite a few after my original and I haven't used more than 2 for edging. So 2 is your magic number. You should need more than that unless you want to use some of that contrast color within your Scrappi, but that's ultimately your choice.

there is 😁 there is also a part 3. They are private for now for those who have purchased the pattern (that is available on my Etsy shop) - i do plan on making them public come fall but i do not have a set date yet. the pattern took a little time for me to put together & i felt it was only fair to me to have it private for a little while. i hope you understand.
