Yall ever found some kind of satellite either amplifier or sender, no idea what its called, but the main part was a cast aluminum rectangle housing bout 8" long, it had 2 rectangle boards in it, one completely gold plated, the other gold with at least 13 tantalum caps and other chips/mlcc

Most interesting seeing what you find in the Sat Horns - Can't wait to hear what the lighter colored plating is on some of the boards - Plus, do you have the room to store many items for the tailgate/flea markets - you've picked up many things that could be resold - Are they still having the markets this time of year? - Thanks again for sharing...

Thanks for Watching, Yes i am keeping stuff, But the Flea market is closed for outdoor vendors right now & the weather has been rain for weeks

For 1 pound of boards, how much do these go for on eBay or anywhere. I have some at home but I need advice and help. Thanks ;)

Darn cats will never do anything on cue ! haha Looks like a nice aluminum score, what are you getting a pound for stuff like that?
@CanadianTreasureHunter5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for Watching, I get 50 Cents CDN for a pound of cast aluminium
@CruiserMac5 жыл бұрын
That is a pretty good price, I had a bunch of aluminum post top fixtures at work I was going to scrap out but if you are getting 50 cents I would probably be lucky to get 10 cents up here.

@@CanadianTreasureHunterI just got a pile of these, the cast on a lot of them seems heavier and different color than regular aluminum, I think it's one of those aluminum copper alloys

@CanadianTreasureHunter5 жыл бұрын
Thanks For Watching, How did you test for palladium? I think some are Silver or very low Caret Gold? as it looks tarnished
@burnroe66115 жыл бұрын
@@CanadianTreasureHunter I cut a small piece of a board that had that of gold color and put it in aqua regia did a stanous test for gold and got a negative and then tried platinum and last paladium. I only get a thew of those so I process with my mlcc. So not sure quantity of paladium yet.
