Hi Phil, I decided to sell my extruded aluminum yesterday. I had more than a ton, gathered over two years. I made 8 trips to the scrap yard to sell 2633 pounds at 1.02$ per pound. Nice pay day but I had liked to have the same price we had two years ago. I dont understand why the stock market goes from one "all time high" to another but aluminum and stainless steel prices dont. Today I will get rid of my dirty aluminum. It take to much space. I will only have 10 cents per pound. Have a nice day and thank you for the videos.

Must have felt nice to have sold a ton of aluminum. You may have caused a small flutter in aluminum price graphs :)
@maxcloutier52856 ай бұрын
@@altafrahman2254 I was happy because there was much more than I tought, so the pay day was in line with this. But also, I was happy to empty that corner. There was two avalanches last winter because of the growing weight. Dirty aluminium, aluminium wires and magnetrons were stuck behind because of these avalanches. Now the place is cleared, 500 pounds of dirty aluminum was sold today at 13 cents per pound. With my wife, we just made a clean up of that corner, so I feel better. I pushed the Stainless Steel on the wall because it doesn't seem that the price will improve soon.

Might be worth to rent a cube van for one trip next time, Prices are all over the place supply & Demand

@@CanadianTreasureHunter I checked for a cube to sell at Zubick in London. U-Haul got one for 19.99$ Plus 85 cents per kilometer. 2000 km at 0.85$ = 1700$ For two days, 2000$ including taxes but without the gas fee. Home depot got an offer with unlimited mileage but there is no truck available. I checked to buy one truck and resale it after the run. Less expensive ones were 5000$ with 550000 km. So, I made 8 runs in one day to my scrap yard. It is close, it take something like 5 to 10 min. to go there. One run per hour. It was fun but tough because it was hot and humid.

Those MedAlta pots are nice. Usually an easy payday of $30 or more depending on size, condition and if they have a lid. That one said made in Medicine Hat which most are that I've seen. Albertans get very nostalgic about them so they always sell.

This one is a good size for the kitchen & in mint condition easy $20

You were asking if we have any guesses on that module. Probably air-ride module for Cadillac or Lincoln vehicles is my guess.

Brass, copper processing is always interesting. Very productive. Tomorrow inspection means more shred on your way back home. I am sure your bin will be full tomorrow with existing shred.

You so ARTFULLY stacked the lawnmower decks.😊 😮 But Angered Jill's Society to Prevent The Abuse of 🪛. 🙃 She may mention you in a PCA with 🎸 if she remembers. 😵💫 You Mentioned you the the car might of had a BIG battery. THE FANCY power board with nifty copper created a GINORMOUS electromagnetic field like a big O capacitor, which would work better than battery.(no acid) 💖From Minnesota 😎

Hey u should do the same with solid core wire like 14/2. I strip wire all the time and get next to nothing for unstripped wire

They pay real good here for wires here, I will strip 12 gauge & small amounts of Romex + other larger gauge wires
