Seriously I just took the same one apart.. I love plasma TVs .. there are some many goodies in those suckers I’ll get about two of those a month.. definitely my favorite tv to scrap .. TVs are about 60 percent of what a get .

13:30 mosfets contain gold as well as the copper 13:43 Green capactor aluminium foils All silver colour pins poking up with be nickel or tin plated brass or copper 16:20 there's a few relays. Any boxes on boards if its hard will be aluminium inside if its real brittle or see through then its a relay. Lot of copper and/or brass and the tips are almost pure silver so very very good for silver Hope that helps

Those green and blue things on the power board are just aluminum capacitors, but that little white thing that had what looks like a plastic Phillips head screw on top, is a potentiometer and should have gold or silver. Anything you don't know either look up the numbers on it or break it open. Thats how I learned everything lol

The one good thing I've learned about taking apart these old plasma's, is USE a Powered Screwdriver.! The last plasma I took apart literally had over 100 screws just in the back cover! there were over a pound of screws removed from the entire tv. Besides taking me over an hour to remove all the screws, my wrist was very tired.

Definitely save everything that is blue, orange, green and burgundy and red thats resin dipped... They are good for silver. Some are tantalum and palladium and some aren't but they all contain silver as far as I know

Lots and lots and lot and lots and lots of screws in those plasmas. I still like getting them for the boards though. Gotten some decent gold from them through the years. Almost a shame they seem to be running out

I avoid any kind of flat screen TV's these days unless from a client (need to maintain good will). But at least plasma's have some value in them. Just don't have the time and way too much trash. A fund scrap - thank you.

17:15. Yes, you did miss something.. You missed the 2 relays on the end of the board. They contain Silver contacts. and copper.

You WASTED a lot. A lot, meaning a little. Just get a heat gun. And heat up the glass Side. at the ends where the ribbon wire attaches to the viewing screen. The glue will soften. And you can pull the ribbon cable off the viewing screen. This way... You get both ends of the gold foils. ALSO, you missed a bunch of Other goodies in their.
