Your love of old laces, buttons, trim, ephemera is more than just a fancy. It’s a look back at historically important textiles, women’s sewing projects, closures and fittings for clothes makings that were essential in the day. I love that crafters are contributing to the archives of important aspects of life as it was lived and then eventually adapted to the present day. Thank you for your excellence.

Hello Jeanette, here I am long after this book that I watched you create, and then never saw the original flip through. I’m happy about that now as I’m getting to see it in slower motion. I am humbled to have the precious piece I sent you included and it is the most meaningful and amazing handstitched book I’ve ever seen. I so enjoyed this video and will save it to my library to rewatch many times over. The laces in it are so incredible! I’m getting older and not crafting much any longer but I still enjoy crafting and watching. I apologize, I’ve written another novel in comments! Hehe. I don’t know how not to!thank you for this revisit. 🤗👩❤️👩👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I have to thoroughly agree with Karen Lulay below...."This has to be the most beautiful journal I have ever seen." Since I am new to your channel I have not seen it before and I don't even remember taking a breath the whole time I was seeing it!!! You did the most outstanding work on this ever!!!!! Did you make the fabric flowers throughout this? If so, I must go hunt through your videos to see if you show how!!!! If I were a millionaire I would offer you a million $$$ to purchase this, lol, but I am SURE you will be wanting to keep that in your possession for ever and pass it down!!!!!! Again, I am so thrilled I found your channel!!!! Now, I must take some deep breaths to get over that stunning video!!!!

Thanks for taking us through this book. I actually use the videos in this series to fall asleep to! They’re so calming to watch come together! I just adore watching you work. I was thinking a lace book of Fancy Ladies with Fancy Hats where their torsos/heads are the pages and the skirts are all dangly and floofy would be amazingggg. With a different color theme on each page. Marie Antoinette style? Oh goodness I’m just out of control but if you ever feel so inspired........ :) :)

Wow! STUNNING Journal! I love it - it's BEAUTIFUL! You did a wonderful job on your Book! And this is a Gorgeous idea for your current project! I will have to go check out Ann's channel. Your Fabric Collage book gives me a wonderful idea to do; I have all the packages from everyone that sent me happy mail, swaps or winnings from the last 3 years with all that they sent me - (extra goodies and all still in them). I did this in the view that I was getting ready to move into my new craft room that my Hubby did for me and I didn't want to lose anything and to remember who sent it. With being off work due to the COVID-19 flue. I have gotten my craft room together and setup. I love the idea of making a small journal with who sent me what, and then I can make pages with all that each one sent! Love this idea! I don't know why I didn't think about doing this the first time I saw your book. Thank you so much!!! I'm going to do this. TFS - Big Crafty Hugs, Christal

Hello, Friend -- how are you? I save your videos to watch on TV, so you're not bogged down by my never-ending comments, and I can watch on "the big screen" -- I hope you and your family and friends are doing well after the awful fires and now the virus. You are, in addition to being probably the most versatile and talented person I'm aware of, psychic -- and I think of you OFTEN -- because you were right -- those kittens did NOT stay kittens -- the two boys are HUGE -- and yes, they get into everything exactly as you predicted -- ha -- they eat like horses, and I buy the good stuff, because I love them and on their worst days, the one big boy will hop on my bed and lay beside me and purr me to sleep, and the little monkey makes me love him more -- then I wake up, and it's a whole new ballgame. Like yesterday, they got into the linen closet where we are hoarding our ONE precious bag of toilet paper and that precious tp was everywhere -- ha -- and I literally thought of YOU -- ha. Oh, this project is so incredibly beautiful -- not just the contents, but all the love that was sent with each and every entry -- and you honored that friendship -- quoting Mary Poppins, who quoted Keats: A thing of beauty is a joy forever. You should have a million subbies and a million views -- thank you for all you do for the crafting community, for the goodness you put out -- I'm into paper crafting these days, and last night was working on some "boho" pages, and that song from your gypsy journal kept playing in my head -- it was a nice memory. Thank you so much for sharing this "slow mo" video; it is absolutely gorgeous!! -- big hugs, Patricia
