Sometimes? No --always in my case. 🤦‍♀️ So hard. I am very sentimental. And what iffy too. I did do my pens a few nights ago with an old episode of Law and Order on that I didn't have to pay attention to. I thought I would be hard pressed to find pens/markers that didn't work. Oh I found em alright! And I tossed them 👏

Wow, you got rid of a lot!! The before looked beautiful, but the after seemed calmer. As for those desk drawers, maybe slip a piece of wood or styrofoam in the back so the items in the drawer don’t slide back there where you can’t see them or get to them. And maybe, add a couple clear bins, like you’ve done in other places in your room, to collect the small bits and pieces. As I start to declutter my entire house, I’m going to ask myself “do I want to pack this up to move with me?” Thank you for that great idea!!!

Great job! I wonder what your new location will be! I remember once when a missionary to a humid place asked our church ladies to send them envelopes with pieces of waxed paper tucked under each flap. Their area was so humid that their envelopes would seal shut on their own! 😂

I had to do a similar destash prior to a move. Also my realtor said - make it a guest room 😂. So, everything was packed up ahead of time.
