Having a build talk to you is one thing, but when you find yourself in a heated argument with a half-built model at 3AM over little things like the accent colors or the amount of greeblies...that is when you know it's time for a break. 😵💫

I bought a 4' x 8' sheet of .040 styrene from a local plastic company for about $20. Had them cut it in half so it would fit in my car (rolled up) and then broke it down into 2' x2' sheets for storage. Also use thin styrene from printed signs, available at hardware stores. Much cheaper than hobby stores.
@CosmicQuestHobbies3 ай бұрын
@@gpdewitt thank you for the tip. I might go the big 4x8 sheet route for sure! I might try some for sale signs too. Sounds like a good option.

I have a question (since we seem not to have weld on in Germany): Is weld on a kind of CA-glue or a plastic glue that melds the plastic a bit and fuses both together?

Howdy. The Weld-on 3 is a plastic solvent. It is very similar to the smaller bottles of plastic solvent cement, that you can buy in hobby shops, that meld the seams together.
