Haha, I am learning polishing and want to erase all of scratches from my surface, but you put them back. I cannot help struggling for erasing them. lol

The OJA has a video on the Principles of Polishing. You'll find it in the OJA playlist on our website at: www.onlinejewelryacademy.com This matte finish looks great contrasted against a shiny one. Plus, this is a great finish for work that is produced using different colors of metal, like mokume gane. Thanks for your support! : )

Love the idea! Tho how do it do this finish on a finished piece? With those polishing or sanding discs??
@OnlineJewelryAcademy7 жыл бұрын
Hi Huskyfluffy, The scratch finish is applied by hand. You apply a uniform finish to your piece first (maybe even polish it), then you follow the steps in the video to apply a scratch finish by hand. Thank you for your ongoing support! : )

how about slight chip? how to make the uneven surface to slight smooth the surface?
@OnlineJewelryAcademy3 жыл бұрын
You need to file and sand an uneven surface to flatten it. 😀

I am gonna do it with cuff bracelet
@OnlineJewelryAcademy6 жыл бұрын
Sure! This technique can be applied to any type of metal surface. It's perfect for something that receives a lot of wear like a cuff bracelet. Have fun creating a beautiful finish. Thanks for your support! : )
