Been watching your videos for longer than I can remember, always informative and entertaining. Thank you!

That's lookin' delish. Dave, ya gotta have tartar sauce for the onion rings, and the second coating needs to be seasoned Panko Bread Crumbs for even more crunch. Try a little corn starch in the flour mix too.

Howdy. This is the first time I've seen you doing anything since Dual Survival. I always liked your input, you seem like a good ol southern boy like me (I'm a 65yo from western North Carolina...as long as I'm learning, I'm still don't mind the "boy" in there. Lol.) Love your recipe and methods. Especially the onion rings. Glad to see you like cast iron cooking. You gotta be from the south, with all the yum you show here. I signed up, subscribed, looking forward to more of your videos. The extra beard threw me off a little, but I recognized your voice, then fine-tuned in on your facial features and tats to make sure it was you. Keep up the great works, Dave! You are doing an outstanding job!

Mr. Canterbury, I don't know if you know how your videos improve lives. Personally, I am 67, handicapped, use a walker and soon will be moving to a wheelchair. Cancer and heart conditions. I will never be able to go camping again. I rarely leave the house other than to go to my doctors. Your videos, and some of the others I subscribe to, take me where I can no longer go. While it obviously can never replace the actual camping, canoeing, hiking experience, they provide my escape from the drudgery of being in bed or my reclining lift chair. Thanks. (I am going to post this message in several of the channels I subscribe to.)

Nice Bacon Cheese Burger, next time try frying the bun on the inside in the bacon drippings and a nice beer batter makes the onion rings really nice. If you want a heart attack on a bun take a pre cooked burger topped with a slice of Spanish onion and batter it and deep fry it. Great beer food. Enjoy the Holiday

Nice burgers and onion rings. You like your bacon cheese burger almost the same as I do. I like mayo and a slice of red onion and that's all. But hey you had onion rings so didn't need an onion slice. Thanks for sharing Dave.

That looks GOOOOOD!!! Have you ever evaluated different ropes and cordage for survival use? Cotton, hemp, manila, nylon (550 cord NEVER seems to stop stretching!) etc. Some like to break, rot, cut through itself, knot poorly... You may be forced to use inferior stuff- do they still make baling twine?- so it would be nice to know what can be expected!
