Hey there Dave. I never thought of using the Onion soup/dip mix for chicken. Never dawned on me. I use it all the time mixed in ground beef for burgers and meatloaf, but, never chicken. Thanks for the idea. 🙂🙂 I'm gonna try this today. I have everything except the soul seasoning. I do have old bay though. And I have a cast iron skillet that needs seasoning as well..haha

I ain't gonna lie, I thought I was the only one that Onion Soup Mix in their wash. It really does take it from "good", to "fantastic". I also like to use Buttermilk, and add some of my Hot Sauce, you can also use Adobo Sauce, to the wash as well. Pour some honey on top of that bad boy, I tell you what.

Hi Dave, I apologize for going off topic. 8yrs. ago you did a video on dear heart w/pepper gravy. Question : Is that a crushible felt hat, and if so were did you get it? That is my speed. Aside from an ember from the fire it's bomb proof. I really like that hat in that brown color. Now that I've seen it I must have one.
