23:08 I could google the letters on the plastic to find out they're security seals for some sort of line of European storage containers, but that's boring, so I'm gonna guess they're a set of crocodile teeth from a version of Milton Bradley's Crocodile Dentist that accidentally got injected with red plastic, which makes them very limited edition now. Good find! Probably worth dozens of USD dollars!

"There's nothing quite like getting more than one of the same thing." Man, I'm with you! It bugs me to find a REALLY NEAT part, but only have one. I always like to have at least a pair. I imagine more people like the build videos, but I personally like haul videos about as much. And there's also nothing quite like the thrill of the hunt! :) Rummaging through old hardware stores and thrift stores is almost blissful. LOL!

It would be an interesting challenge to see if you could make something completely different out of a single really complex toy with minimal use of other parts and just chopping up the original toy to make something else. Like turning a transformer into some kinda speeder bike or something. Idk lol

that big flat thing with bolts at 24:54 is the build surface for a 3d printer, specifically a resin 3d printer, that is held up and dips into resin, and lasers cure the resin on the flat surface, and it slowly lifts up out layer by later building the print. that's also one of the harder pieces to replace or modify so maybe don't use it in a build until you find out what it's from and IF IT STILL USABLE, because if it's balanced, it could be resold.

I believe Lego (and such) uses ABS, which explains why it's so easy to work with. It melts in Acetone, which means you can use plastic cement on it to get really good bonds with other bits and especially other styrene-based plastic.

Just FYI, looks like Lego is experimenting with recycling PET for their bricks instead, and PET sticks to NOTHING, it's the worst. Dunno if mega blocks will follow suit, but if one day you go to stick two bricks together and they just wanna go, you'll know why.

Don't stop practicing. A trick I use is I'm always working on at least two models at once. That way when I lose inspiration on one I can work on a different one. Then I can come back to the first one whenever I have an idea. It takes a bit longer but I find I get much better results that way. But above all, don't stop practicing!

Actually, yes it is possible. As I have found 3 in trashes due to they are missing side screws, easy enough to replace but some people yes toss them, as I guess for their printer it was cheaper and quicker to get the plate than to find the right screw for it. Yes it is possible 100%. Also come to find out, wives throw away the plates when they get pissed at their husbands for stinking up the house....they wont throw away the machine that is too much, the plate just enough to get them to stop but not enough to cause a huge problem it getting it replaced. yes that happens as well.

As for the stock cap, I have something similar on a juice carton I drink from time to time and they tend to have an inner removable part which is fairly sharp to break the seal which also has a very interesting and unique shape, sadly not symmetric or they'd make some really cool double reactors but I'm sure you'll be able to find a use for those if you happen to get your hands on them.

08:49 Thats a car part from a Kinder Suprise toy. I used that exact peice as the front cockpit part in my Moominpappa Podracer build video. Oh, and the reflector light with detail on the inside; maybe you can push some clay in there to get a cast?

Your videos inspired me to create my own Ork mek out of some Transformers and other stuff. And a suggestion for your future builds: You can use screws (such as the ones found in Transformers) as structural detail. Plus, it's very satisfying to screw in the parts onto your model. And if you really want them to be rivets, you can just fill in the head with a little modeling paste or wood filler.

The pink clear things are needle covers for medical staff to close off an IV needle once the IV is inserted. Source: I get a lot of IV's frequently lol. Scoure discarded medical plastics and rubber that are not bio hazardous and you'll land a gold mine of parts. Tubing is especially easy to come by if you ever have to get an IV line for something like a saline solution. They are super flexible and if you pull it through sand paper, makes paint stick pretty well. Also all the little bits of plastic thingies that come WITH the tubing have neat shapes.
