Did he just took rust power and mixed it with water? Bcs i tried and it doesn't really give the same effect... mine is way brownier
@Wafflebob3 ай бұрын
@@paille-boy not water. If you use water when it dries it'll just flake and brush off. You need to use some kind of binder medium that has solids in it that will dry into a clear film that sticks. Linseed oil or egg whites are traditional, readily available ones. You can just buy pre-made acrylic binder or possibly even use something like watered down mod podge or pva glue. Maybe even acrylic floor polish? No idea what he used.

I love this idea of collecting litter for a build. Probably takes forever to clean and actually find useful greeblies, but I would give it a go for fun!
@archivist8523 Жыл бұрын
I've been doing the same thing for a while now and it all depends on where you live! More trash in cities than in suburbs, more in suburbs than rural areas. As for washing, a high grade detergent/degreaser like Super Clean will get everything clean enough to handle pretty quickly.
@spinafire Жыл бұрын
@@archivist8523 I recently started using LA Totally Awesome degreaser which has been pure magic for me. I'll look into Super Clean too. Thanks for the tips!
@slackpipe Жыл бұрын
Disagree with the rural areas. Here, people love to litter and can't drive, so plastic is abundant. I've been too focused on getting it just right from the start. I think I'm going to start glueing stuff together and then covering the ugly parts. Maybe find a plan somewhere in the middle. See how that goes.

LOVE this method for collecting some good and properly random stuff! I don't get a lot of weird waste hard plastic in my household, so this looks like a good way to *quickly* pick up good shapes to sterilize clean and use!
