Scream 7 2025 Preview | Time To Get Excited

This is what i love about Scream, with each new film coming there's always something to look forward to because you know it'll be somehow different from the last one. I don't know any other franchise that holds this much hype for their fans, especially in the horror genre. Scream is about the only one that stayed consistent up until now and i hope they keep it that way and not change anything about it like they did with other well known slasher franchises.

idk how you could possibly be excited for this movie with everything surrounding the main cast not returning... the Carpenter sisters were the best thing about the new movies and they're not even gonna be in the new one.

They are overrated. Thanks god they are out. Couldnt care less about them. RS did the worst two movies in this franchise.

7 movies in, it has to change the usual formula and try something different. Less pseudo commentary on whatever sequel/ requels they pull out and force onto us, less of the usual formula (waiting for the reveal in the 3rd act) and think out of the box. Scream doesnt have to change entirely, but it needs to take risks and trying New stuff. Whatever they do, it shouldnt feel "repetitive" But two things that lower my expectations: same old cast, counting on the legacys, the same type of new characters getting cast, sidney once again the center of the univers (give me a break) and the same bs writers. Kevin is my only hope, but im not hyped rn. Couldnt care less about the core4 either. So we will see
