I went back to this picture. If you zoom in. You can see a scar on his face. I thought it was the lighting at first, but it’s definitely makeup for where his scar *would* be from the TV. I have always been on the Stu Train. I do believe he is coming back! Just a question or maybe theory. What if Stu comes back but is not the killer but the person who redeems himself by saving Sydney’s kids from a Ghostface killer? @@officialkaylaashly I am all for Stu being in multiple movies. Maybe he always walks the line between good and bad. Remember he did not kill for any reason expect peer pressure. Yes, I am sure he is also crazy. LOL but it would be interesting to flip the script where we think Stu is the killer only to find out he is a Ghostface hunter. I also want to add, that a similar storyline happened on the Soap Opera show General Hospital. I’m not sure if you’ve seen it. There’s a character named Franco whose story is similar to Stu’s. He portrayed a serial killer artist, but had a brain tumor to blame for his actions, but redeemed himself by paying back all of the victims family from the commissions he made from his art. Also. He helped two young sons of one of his victim Elizabeth who ends up falling for him. She was hesitant at first, giving him that second chance. She calls him out on everything.

And I did my research as well and man I'm getting excited either way cause I love Matthew Lillard and his work but I'm really thinking because FNAF 2 was rescheduled till fall and that Scream 7 is beginning to film in summer I have all my fingers and toes crossed that he's finally coming back as our boy and the best Ghostface besides for his partner Skeet Ulrich. I'm really hoping it's for Scream 7 but we'll see in the near future my friend cause we're getting so close to be getting another Scream but I'm really hoping. It would be a huge win for the Scream films to have him return. Even though it’s just fan service & we would kinda expect it. Fans would lose their minds and erupt into applause in the theater. Instantly making the film great even if it’s flawed. It would be smart for the studio to do it. If he does return they can’t kill him in this film. Only tease him.. Personally I’d absolutely LOVE Stu to return as it was intended in Scream 3 originally, as the leader of a Ghostface cult. I do think though that they may go a similar route to what they did with Skeet as Billy, could Leslie Macher be having visions of her brother Stu after losing her Son Vince? They could even do this and last minute reveal that Stu isn’t dead setting up a great Scream 8

I'm down for stu to come back but If he does comes back I think you gotta FOR SURE tie him back to scream 5 as the 3rd Ghostface and was the one that really killed Dewey!! Amber just took credit for it!! And another idea I think should happen is Christina Carpenter has to be in S7 and tied to the story or possibly tied to Stu and you could have her give the reason that Sam and Tara are not around+ having Sam and Tara's mom in the film would make S5 and S6 still plausible and part of a new Trilogy!! I would love to get STU back, but as I am realist, I hope for at least HIS LEGACY being underlined in SEVENTH. I think, if anything was TRUELY in talks, he will be silenced by contract. He is good and loving with giving FANSERVICE, but I talk myself to not think about Stu being back, as it will only be just souring my happieness, when SCREAMVII will come out. 😮‍💨 At most HOPE, if anything, I expect Leslie and Christina, from where I hope, at least Leslie will be MAIN ONE in duo, letting us some past Stu info at least. Ok, I’m ok if we get some kind of Stu flashback or something, but bringing him back would make zero sense and way too unrealistic even for horror standards. I respect others that like the idea, but it would ruin the franchise if they did this.

But how about content that’s more towards what actually is instead of the speculation wall-toss you are constantly spewing lately?! 😊 The script for Scream 7 was written and done over two years ago. It was a matter of tweaking it until the strike and controversy hit. Then it had to adjust. Sidney was ALWAYS going to return as the focus. The big return was Dempseys character Kincaid. Who was ALWAYS the killer that got away. Roman was not the actual brother of Sidney. Roman was made to believe he was by the actual brother of Sidney and mastermind behind the continually evolving plot trying to kill Sidney as an act of homicidal jealousy and revenge. Which has now become marrying her and having kids all to let it play out into a grand opus to which Kincaid will reveal all to his fast becoming estranged wife and half sister Sidney. It’s been the secret that’s been playing out since Scream 4. Kincaid is a familiarized Hollywood detective. Scream 3 was NEVER intended to be the end. They were going to wait and revisit after some time. Hence the T.V. Series that was going to lead into the return of Sidney’s struggle/story. BUT! Due to conflicts and disagreements changes were made and things were left…. Well dead. So Scream 4 came to be and we were all left wondering, why and how was Jill spurred on to turn on her cousin Sidney. As we find out that it was before Sidney’s return to Woodsburo that she and Det. Kincaid had broken things off. The Scream series showed us how the initial killer could and does manipulate others to actions against their own friends and family….hmmmm was that prepping us for understanding how Det. Kincaid could be the o.g. Cultivating new threats to carry out misdeeds and murder leading to Sidney’s demise?! Uh DUH! HELLO! Sam Carpenter has been on the guided and gilded path to becoming what her father ultimately came to be…. A patsy. Kirby, as we know now, was always intended to survive. Becoming a more empowered and focused Randy. Her character was ALWAYS going to be the lead in with Gale to uncovering who Det. Kincaid really was. So here we are today…. Hurtling towards this sagas finishing line. Is Stu dead or alive?! Well, it’d take somebody with connections to cover up Stu’s whereabouts and current legal standings…. Wouldn’t it. It’s a very dark ending to this story overall. Callbacks to varying events throughout will be a necessity. Like Heather Graham’s return. 😮 Oh did y’all forget?! The original Stab is coming up on celebrating its anniversary. No better way to honor a franchise than revisiting and rebooting it for new what’s old is new again content. 😱 Poor Heather, starring as the opening kill only to be literally type-casted to be the opening kill. You gotta wonder if she sees it coming.❤

Matt Lillard stated in an interview that he was paid a salary for Scream 3 and he was supposed to come back. The script idea was recycled for the following series that Kevin Williamson wrote and produced.
