Agree with the AI. Sorry guys this is going to be long but I’mma just dump all my thoughts on Scream 7 on this one😂 I have a feeling that this time around, the killers will be a (maybe married) couple to juxtapose Sidney and her husband (since he’s cast) and Gale having lost Dewey. This would create a strong foil for a final showdown between all. The “boyfriend” killer is tired, they even recently did it in Scream 5, so I think Sidney’s husband is off the table, but he still needs to be thematically relevant as her partner, especially since Sidney’s daughter is also cast. They did “Sidney’s relatives as killers” in Scream 3, 4, and “the killer’s relatives” in 2 and 6, so I think there’s going to be no more repeat of those. We have yet to see a friend of the protagonist (Sidney/Sam) as a killer other than Quinn and Ethan in Scream 6 (and somewhat Stu in the original), but none of them were close friends, so I think there’s a good chance that a close friend would be a way for the creatives behind the movie to make the killer feel refreshing, relevant, and impactful. If any close friends to Gale but especially Sidney is revealed to have a spouse, I’m calling the shots on them being the killer duo! The casting could support it: Anna Camp has a background in drama/thriller/horror and could potentially play Sidney’s friend due to her age. Ethan Embry and Mark Consuelos both have backgrounds in drama/thriller/horror and are in a similar age to play spouses. McKenna Grace and Asa Germann both resemble Anna Camp, so I wouldn’t be surprised if one or both play the children to juxtapose Sidney, her husband, and daughter, which is another reason I think they’re continuing with the family theme, but going for a different twist with what kind of relationship it is. Sam Rechner has barely been in anything and no thriller/horror, so I think he’s a goner. Celeste O’Connor, whom I’m really excited for, does have a background in drama/thriller/horror, but I don’t think she’ll be the killer because she’s only played supporting roles and the good guy. McKenna Grace and Ada Germann both have played more ambiguous roles, including the antagonists, so it’s also possible the killer couple is them if they’re not siblings. So, my guess right now for GF with barely any info lol: 1. Anna Camp as the friend + husband/Ethan Embry or Mark Consuelos 2. Embry + Consuelos 3. McKenna Grace + Asa Germann (less likely due to repeat of the Scream 5 twist with Amber and Richie being a couple… Although interestingly, Asa has acted on The Boys like Jack Quaid/Richie, and continued his role in Gen V playing an antagonist in the series, so we know the casting directors seen this.) Goners: Sam Rechner, Celeste O’Connor (or she survives but is not the killer) As for the AI, I think you guys are right in how they might use deep fakes, and I can see how Mindy especially can be used for meta commentary on this as a film nerd. I don’t think they’ll make a whole new “Randy” character type for just this film, and such a character is mandatory for Scream, so I think the twins are guaranteed to be back for real some way, and deepfake investigation is an angle (maybe with Kirby, secret appearance? this has been rumored). First off, this is amazing! You did your research. We just went off the fly 🤣 I do LOVE the best friend theory and it’s crazy how that hasn’t been a thing for Sidney - rumor or not it, Halle was supposedly a killer in Scream 2 but that idea was scrapped. Also the motive for the kills being Gayle centric would be great too.

All good possibilities - what about Stu’s sister? Remember they killed his nephew (her son) in Scream 5. I wish they would go away from familial killers, but we shall see!
