it was confirmed by a Valve employee MONTHS ago that a DIFFERENT employee did this video in their spare time for fun. It was in no way ever intended to be part of an update. And while I have your attention, it's worth mentioning that nearly a year ago a list of a bunch of .wav files was leaked, possibly the lines recorded by the Team Fortress voice actors for Valve's upcoming movie/short, which Gabe Newell said was going to happen... eventually.

You can't say it's from Valve just because of that. If this vid was made AFTER they released the assets needed, then it could've been made by a skilled SFM user who put in all his time for the vid. Example: the Crackpot (Saxxy Awards 2013, Best Short entry) vid was at a level that could rival this vid's, and it was made at first for just a workshop item. Just 'cause something is made at such a high level doesn't mean it's made by Valve.

Guys, this wasn't created by the uploader. This was a leaked video from Valve. Think about it, Scream Fortress came out around the 27 or later, So this would mean they would of had to do this entire thing within 3 or 4 days. Not only that, but the Scout's lines appear to be taken from the Meet The Team series, but without any background noise. This would mean they have all the original recordings of the Scout's lines of those sessions. And finally, the account. One upload, no comments or replies and all? Unless the uploader is an employee at Valve, this was just a leaked video. Nevertheless, it is really well done by the actual animators who made this possible.

Dan K. Meme German peter also got it completely wrong. The voice lines, models and textures exited in Valve’s Source Dev Repository long before this video was made, and the animation isn’t motion capture, it’s Frame tweeted in an external program and uploaded to a burner account because of Valve’s rules regarding their repository. And most of the world props can be found in prior Halloween maps and cp_snowfront, and a lot of the architecture is from degrootkeep. All the speculation can be explained by Valve’s Source repository, which is a big dump of their Source engine content given to Game Devs to experiment with. And knows my how Valve operates it, they would upload voices and models not implemented in their games (such as HL2 episode 2 beta content) Back in 2013 it was pretty unknown, but totally within realms of reality for that “HQ merasmus” (its not very HQ not even up to Valve’s SFM standards) for someone to find those voices and model and make the SFM for fun, but due to the nature of the Source Dev repository, unable to take credit for the SFM.

As DrClay999 stated with evidence, this is leaked footage. It came out before the Scream Fortress update, therefore nobody would know about Merasmus, the spellbook, Monoculus, the HHH, and the Skeleton King. Also, as stated by DrClay999, there are voice lines not in the game, implemented without any background noise. The "Hey, hey, hey!" voice line has never been seen prior to this animation being leaked. I don't believe anybody knows how it was leaked.

I think those spells that the Soldier, Scout and the Sniper activated can be useful when it comes to being in the battlefield. The Anti-Gravity spell from the Soldier can make nearby enemies float in the air helplessly, so the Soldier can take them out with ease with his rocket launcher. The Fire Spell allows the Scout to not to move a little bit more fast than he was before, but it also allows him to shoot fireballs from his hands with unlimited ammo. The "Michael Jackson 'Thriller'" Spell allows the Sniper to aim and shoot at a certain area where a large group of enemies are shown and they'll stay perfectly still as they dance around just like from 1:56-2:01 for like 5-6 seconds, which gives the Sniper enough time to head-shot at least 3-4 people. To be honest, I highly prefer the Scout's Spell than the others, thumbs up if you agree. And do you actually wished you would've used these spells in the battlefield, only if they would've actually existed in the game itself. Thumbs up if you said yes.

Ugh lemme clear things up. This was meant for the Mann Brothers Halloween update. They were gonna have a skeleton king boss, liek MERASMUS or MONOCULUS, but they ran out of time and couldn't do it, so they scrapped this animation because it was going to be a trailer for it.

I'm so glad that I managed to find this SFM video, it's one of my favourite TF2 SFM videos I grew up with. The animations, details and everything look amazing like Valve would make. Sadly, this is not really that popular but us- who watched this video before- really grow up with this. (Also, this is my favourite part lol.) 2:30 Merasmus: Doom! It is, technically. This was made by Valve before they finished up development of the update, and was scrapped in favor of the version we see now.

this has to be a gamemode for tf2 halloween 4 players play as heavy soldier scout and sniper and you can use the bombonicom to gain random special powers you must fight those bosses with unique powers you only can get another power for 2 minutes

+Mak Arnaut a different version of mvm. operation tower of terror. all grunts are replaced with skeletons. sentry busters are walking pumpkin bombs. tanks are pretty much the same. final rounds are a tough wave, ending with a boss fight against that map's boss. haunted hallows (mann manor): boss is hhh. wizardly warehouse (ghost fort): boss is merasmus otherworldly optimizations (eyeaduct): boss is monoculus. hell's bells (helltower): boss is skeleton king.
