When I first watched the first movie (I was 14 when it was released), I heard Ghostface’s voice and I thought it was Jack Nicholson. The way he says “horror movie” sounded exactly like how Jack Torrance had said it in “The Shining”.

Very informative doc,Lee! The draw for me in the Scream franchise(aside from the face- Neve Campbell)....Randy Meeks: a student of horror. Remember renting the original @ blockbuster & attending 2 & 3 in the theathers. From multiple killers to meta....Great you covered the Weinstein connection(some truths are hard, but need to see the bright light of day). Great editing & narration Lee!!!👌

Is it legal to splice up other documentaries and turn it into your own? I thought you normally have to record/film your own interviews in order to make a documentary?

@@DrumdumsXtra Kurt Angle told a great story on his podcast about a WWE tour in Afghanistan for the US troops around 2004ish. He said Robin Williams was there as well and he was shuttled in the same bus with the wrestlers. Nobody was in the bus, no media, no execs. Just wrestlers and a comedian driving to the next show. Kurt explains how Robin Williams was Robin Williams on level 11 on like a 13 hour bus trip and Kurt was stuck sitting next to him. Kurt said he had to fake being asleep so he would just be left alone and escape the feeling of this dude always having to be "on".

🌙😢🌃Very greatly, and wonderfully done dearest Lee, watching this, at and around 3amish-5amish where I am. As I’m having a sleepless night, during such a very dark, heavily sad, heart wrenching broken season of grief.💔😰💔 Along with mourning of my beloved adopted mom, as this month marks the last time I saw her alive before she passed. In the months to come, right before Christmas which is meaningless now to me personally as my beloved mom always made the holiday season special along with my birthday prior to December.🥀🎄💔 It’s not the same any longer, then with other passing anniversaries of other loved ones coming up and the ongoing absence too of my beloved biological dad who tried. Before he tragically passed I feel so alone, orphaned, in this deeply seas of loss and unbearable painful grief.😪😭😥 It’s hard being here without parents where most in my life have their parent, or parent, if not even a lovingly caring step parent,😪most can’t understand or compassionately empathize with this type of grief/profound loss.😓I don’t mean to make your comment section super somber on this fantastically well done documentarian rendition of the Scream franchise documentary of yours, done by you. The fun facts, and little known surprises were very awesome too Lee that you also shared.🤘🏾🎬🤘🏾Rest in peace continuously also to the late great Wes Craven, along with Donald Pleasance continuously as well. I happen to also be “one of those” whom really like Scream 3 despite its often mixed reviews/reception. Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Scream will always be my personal favorite horror film franchises, also timeless. Especially as a nineties kid, when I was first introduced to these films into the early 2000s as a preteen/teenager. Thank you again for this escapism Lee, ❤️🩹💔❤️🩹 During this very dark personally painful time, my mom as an abandoned neglected unwanted ultimately adopted former foster child/teen will always be the mom I never had, I really wish she and my dad were still here amongst others l’ve loss, grief truly hurts.😰😭😰 I’ll never understand why I’ve had to endure so much loss, abandonment etc💔 I don’t know or feel, I can do this anymore another passing anniversary or so is just too much.😥😔😥 Nevertheless, I am sorry dearest Lee fantastic job here once again great narrator voice of yours also, you and your family certainly deserve the best always.🧡
