I've never seen such ignorance on so great a scale, as the masses that gather there! They wouldn't let this poor horse alone, but kept forcing themselves on him, and letting him nip them! They don't have any concern or care for this horse! They want that "perfect picture," despite all else! Sadly, this guard does nothing to control the situation. He allowed that poor horse to be manhandled, mauled, groped, and aggravated to no end!!

Don't blame the ignorant tourists, the blame lies firmky on the Guard. He can stop it any time he chooses . It's the noise that gets me. Those Asians are absolutely horrendous, they always are.

Because there's a sign saying horses may kick or bite .. what ever happens it's there own fault.. I think the crowds need controlling someone is going to seriously get hurt. They shouldn't really touch the horses full stop. The horse and gaurd are at work .. so many ignorant people..

When the troopers tell the tourists to stand back tge ignorant tourists either complain or ignore them. Its not th troopers or horses fault it is these ignorant rude tourists.

This guard has no control of the situation. More people are stepping inside the horse box to take a photo and he says nothing. In addition to people, including children, who stand directly in front of the horse while petting it. When someone gets badly hurt they will not take responsibility for their actions they will blame the guards. That sign that many don't obey is not going to be a rock solid defense for the palace.

The guards are actually on duty protecting the barracks. Ignorance is not a defence, the sign is clearly shown and states “Horses may kick and BITE”. It is not part of his duty to babysit idiots.

@@catherineharrison9441 I agree it isn't his job to baby sit idiots but he should protect his horse, although both Radan and Tryanny are well able to take care of themselves as you can see. Actually the sign and video backup will prove who is in the wrong and it isn't horses, I maintain that so many people should not be allowed near the horses at all, horses are very easily frightened and it is plain to see the anxiety a lot of them go through. Makes me fume.😥😡

It’s not his job to stop tourists getting bitten. People are permitted to touch the horse at their own risk. They are not allowed to touch the reins or the guard

I'm so glad it was an adult rather than a kid bitten. Then again, I can't believe how many parents (or, whomever the "adult" is) want to shove them right next to a horse that is clearly becoming annoyed. He (I think he's a gelding) was telegraphing his annoyance very well by, at first, the mouthing behavior. His head was swinging back and forth and some weight shifting going on too. But they seemed to think it funny as they continued to press so close for their precious photo. I don't know what the child protective agency is called there in England, but they could be issuing citations right-and-left on days like this.

Hasn't England got petting Zoos as they do here in the USA? These horses are Soldiers and deserve to be shown RESPECT! Tourists have no respect...

We have some farms that give a family friendly interactive experience but petting zoos aren't a big thing over here. We have regular zoos but most of them are non-interactive. Thank you for the recognition that these are military animals and deserve to be treated as such.

Tyranny and Radan my favourite biters, no sympathy as you know for idiots that are not aware of the sign or how to treat a living animal with feelings and a lot of anxiety Not the horses fault, if they get bitten, the horses do their utmost to warn the twits, why doesn't someone point out the sign to them too. I wish they would stop shouting! The horses like us do not always like the wet weather either Good boy tyranny. They never learn do they? It is animal abuse no matter which way you look at it. People who insist on going back to get deliberately nipped, slobbered or really bitten should be fined, they are Psychotic!

The Guard's movements are quite subtle, but there is little he can do without violating a regulation and getting fined. Clearly, the bean counters are in control and shame on whoever their advisors are for their contemptuous behavior toward the Guards.

Sign should say “ We are not responsible should the horses kick or bite. Approach horses at your own risk.” Then clearly mark a line people should not cross. Just like in the yard.
