Screamin' Jay Hawkins - Ol' Man River (live TV appearance, 1992, RARE)

The late great Screamin' Jay Hawkins performing Ol' Man River on The Dennis Miller Show back in 1992. He had released Black Music For White People (late?) the previous year and was promoting it. On this show Steve Allen hosted, and the other guests were Shari Belafonte, Todd Glass, and Rachel McLish.
I wish this had less hiss but this is how it taped myself back then, and this is not to be found anywhere else. (I also got lucky with the reception as I did not have cable back then). I consider this a much better version of Ol' Man River than the one later done on Screamin' Jay's Night Music appearance. (Here I Put a Spell On You was done only during the commercial break; he also continued doing this song afterward during the commercial break, or part of it, as it showed when they came back from it).
I wish greatly that I knew how to add all of Screamin' Jay's brief but funny interactions with the guests with it, as well as the brief musical snippets, but I don't currently know how to. Maybe one day I'll be able to.
