another great live - Thanks Cam and Mark - I could listen to Mr. Coudray all day on screen printing technique. He seems to come from a whole other school of thought than the vanilla samo samo you hear everywhere else on the web. And how long do you have to live and print to get a tenth of that knowledge from personal experience. Appreciate the opportunity to hear this.

Growing up, during HS years, I worked in a gas station/garage. The biggest take away from that experience that I learned from that was that SERVICE and HONESTY was everything. Every thing we did was service oriented. Every car that came to the gas pump, we would pop the hood, check the oil, and look at the door sticker to see when we changed the oil. The customer knew we would let them know when they were getting close to when they needed to bring their car in for service. AND we would ask if they would like to schedule their car for service. If they were not due, we would tell them they could wait a while. It wasn't time. We would check their tire pressure and look at the tires. If they asked and their tires were fine and had a few thousand miles on them, we told them they could wait... and we expected a sale in a couple months and they should wait a couple months so they could take advantage of that at that time. All about honesty. THIS is way more important than price. We were the most expensive garage in the area, and had people bringing their cars to us for service from 100 miles away. Why? Because they knew their car would be right, and safe when it rolled out our doors. It was trust.

Awesome video!!! Too bad I can only leave one thumbs up. Here's a quick question for you, how do you handle a small repeat customer starts getting greedy? Customer orders 50 or so shirts a few times and then starts DEMANDING lower pricing, extras at no extra charge and so on.
@ThePrintLife5 жыл бұрын
I feel like a lot of clients do this at some point. You can give him solid reason for giving him the discount or tell him after two more orders he will move into the volume tear and will get 10 iff on all future orders, hopefully your priced to allow this. What you don't want to do is set a precedent for discounting becouse if you discount once they will try to get more each time until you cant go any lower. So change your mind set to think, I'm not going lower even if it means loosing the client, some times you will, most times you wont.
